[a month later]
[that night]
Nicholas took a deep breath before entering a secret passageway he built in his bedroom behind a bookshelf. The bookshelf would shift back to its original spot once he walked at least a metre down the passageway. He caught a dead end and stepped onto a circular platform which marked the dead end. In an instant, it lit up and he was magically transported to his base of operations within the deep forests of Knighton.
His brother had many bases built in different kingdoms when there were missions outside the Kingdom of Auden. Gotham was a large territory of the kingdom granted onto House Wayne many generations before by King Claudius Hansel Auden, Princess Cadence's paternal ancestor.
House Wayne was a part of the royal faction and a family which was loyal to and worked closely together with and for the royal family. They were responsible to protect not only Gotham, but the entire kingdom. Duke Bruce and his sons were trained in sword fighting along with their family knights because they knew that one day, they'd have to eventually fight for their kingdom in war.
Nicholas bent down and let the scanner scan his eye and the doors opened.
Recognised. Red Robin.
The new name was still so new to him. He was so used to hearing only 'Robin' in the past. He entered the base to see that everything which had been there was well maintained before his brother Tim left for his mission. He looked at the swivel chair which was in front of the huge computer. It was occupied by his younger sister, who had gotten there a few minutes prior to his arrival at the Birdcave.
"I'll be guiding you," Olivia said as she turned around in her chair to face her brother, "so I won't be going out tonight."
"Thank you, Olivia,"
"Papa says to look out for Grandfather," Olivia informed her brother. There's a high chance that he's going out there tonight to look for you."
"Alright," Nicholas nodded as his sister got up from her seat and hugged her brother.
"Stay safe out there," she said.
"I will, so don't worry about me so much," Nicholas assured his sister and hugged her back.
One he let go of the hug, he headed towards the huge glass display case which had the Red Robin uniform and gear which their older brother Tim had worn before.
"... will I ever be able to be like him?" Nicholas mumbled.
"... in time, you will... maybe..." Olivia began, "you'll be even better than him."
"Really?"
"Really," she nodded.
"I guess," he turned back to the glass display, "it's time, then."

[later that night]
He aimed his grappling gun at the side of the building and shot it. Out came a grappling hook, and he began swinging from building to building throughout the capital city of Knighton until he finally reached the top of the building of his father's company's headquarters. The wind blew his hair and long cap e as he looked down at his Red Robin suit and its gear. Nicholas decided not to modify any part of it out of respect and to honour his brother.
"Are you nervous, Nick?" Olivia said through his earpiece.
"Very," he admitted.
"Well, I have a few missions for you," Olivia said. "Look down. There's a rape case. Somewhere a few kilometres away, is a dangerous criminal named Miles Simon. He's a drug dealer who apparently has 20 kilos of cocaine in possession and some information about the Joker's whereabouts."
"Got it," Nicholas nodded and began his missions.

[sometime later that night]
Once Nicholas was done with his missions, he sat on a gargoyle at the grand theatre building.
"Really, Nick? You could've just forced all that info out of him," sighed Olivia.
"I did," Nicholas said. "But he killed himself before I could even press him on any details."
"What is wrong with criminals these days..." sighed Olivia.
"One can only hope that they'd change one day. I didn't expect him to be so loyal to the Joker to that extent," Nicholas sighed, remembering the dead criminal Miles Simon, who killed himself in front of him.
"I know, right," sighed Olivia. "Oh, isn't that the knights?"
"Oh? You're right," Nicholas said as he looked down from his position.
He stood up and looked down to see that the Nexo Knights were out that night. Their rolling castle, the Fortrex, was on the road and headed towards the Knighton forests. Their sudden movement made Nicholas feel suspicious of them.
"That's strange," Nick said to himself. "What are they doing out tonight?"
"Well, apparently," sighed Olivia, "Jestro and the Book of Monsters are back and they're working for... Intergang."
"Well, shit," Nicholas sighed as he stared at the Fortrex which was moving further away from him by the second, it seems. "I should go after them."
"I told Papa already," Olivia said. "He said to go for it. I'm sending you your bike and Jestro's coordinates."
"Alright," sighed Nicholas as he got off the gargoyle and the building and onto the ground. Nick sped off on his bike towards Jestro's location.

[later that night]
As Nicholas rode his bike, he somehow managed to catch up to the Fortrex. When it had stopped moving, he stopped his bike and parked it near the Fortrex.
He decided that spying on them could bring him some good and information about Jestro before he hunted him down that night.
