A Farewell Smile

It has been 3 weeks since the last time Daiki met with Aiko. Both of them have been busy with classes and assignments given.

Luckily today, all of Daiki's classes are cancel since most of the students are involve in a program held by the faculty. Daiki not joining the program since he's been busy with other activity. So, he decided to stay at his room and finish a few works today. 

One hour later, Daiki heard a knock on his door. He walks lazily to the door and open it.

"Oh, Ryosuke. What is it?" he asked as he saw Ryosuke's face. Ryosuke walks into his room.

"Are you busy?" he asked back.

"Kinda. But, not really busy. Just got a few works to do. Why?" Daiki asked again.

"Can you accompany me to the city? I need to meet someone there." he said.

"Oh, when are you going? Only me or there is other person too?" Daiki asked.

"This evening. Around 2 pm. Just you. Keito is joining the program by the faculty. So, I didn't have anyone to ask to." he replied.

"Oh, okay. Sure." Daiki replied.

"Thank you, Dai-chan."  Ryosuke said. Then, he walked out of the room. 

Daiki walked back to his seat and try to finish his few works before they going out later. 

2 pm -

"Dai-chan, I'm here." 

Daiki heard knocks on his door. He quickly open the door and saw Ryosuke already there waiting for him with a smile.

"Wait a minute, I need to take my bag first." Ryosuke nodded and waited for him outside of the room.

"Okay, done. Let's go." Daiki said as he finished lock his door. 

Both of them walked down the stairs and headed to the nearest bus stand. After 10 minutes of chats, they saw a bus coming to them. They ride the bus that going to the city.

Usually, the journey took about half an hour to arrive but this time it took about an hour. It is because there is an accident occur in their journey. 

Ryosuke watched his wristwatch a few times since he already late for his meeting with someone. After one hour, they arrived in the city.

"Where are you going to meet with the person?" Daiki asked when they arrived in front of shopping complex.

"I promised with her, here." he said while looking around.

"Oh. Wait, is it that person?" Daiki said as he saw a girl looks like waiting for someone.

"Where? Oh, yes. That's her." he said.

Both of them walked to her.

"Hi Yuri. I'm so sorry. I'm late! There's an accident on the way here." Ryosuke said as they approached her. The girl smile.

"It's okay, Ryosuke. You already tell me 5 times." she chukled when she said that. "Don't worry. I'm not mad, okay?" she said before smiling again.

"Oh, yes. I'm forgot to introduce earlier. Here is my friend and classmate, Arioka Daiki." Ryosuke introduced Daiki to the girl.

"And Daiki, this is Yuri. My girlfriend." Ryosuke looked blushing when he mentioned the word 'girlfriend'. Daiki laughed as he saw that.

"Arioka Daiki. Just call me Daiki." Daiki introduced himself again. The girl nodded.
