A Farewell Smile

After their class finished today, Daiki, Keito and Ryosuke walk to the cafeteria that nearest to their class. They need to walk passed a garden in the campus to go to the cafeteria. Three of them talking along the way.

"Eh, isn't that girl is the girl we saw at the library before?" Keito asked when he saw 2 people talking at the garden. Their spot is a bit far from them.

"Yes, that guy too." Ryosuke replied.

Daiki look onto where the guys pointing to. He saw Aiko and Takaki talk under a tree. Their conversation seems serious. He can see that Takaki nodded a few times before Aiko passing a small bag to him.

"She's  giving something to him." continue Keito. Ryosuke nodded.

"Let's go, guys. I'm hungry." said Daiki as he saw his friends still continue watching them. "It will be bad if they saw us."

"Alright, Dai-chan. You always can't consider if it involves food." replied Ryosuke as they start to walk away from the garden. Keito just laughing and and nodded. Agreeing with Rysouke.

"Yeah, when I'm hungry, nothing can stop me." said Daiki. The three of them laughing together.

Three of them have their lunch at the cafeteria. Then, they headed back to their room since there are no classes this evening. 

Keito headed back to his own room while Ryosuke followed Daiki to his room, just to hang there since he got nothing to do later.

Daiki open the door as he unlocked it. Both of them walked into the room. Ryosuke a seat on the floor while Daiki sit on his bed. They just doing their own things without talking.

"Ne Dai-chan." Ryosuke suddenly talked.

"Um." he replied. Still looking onto his phone.

"Can I ask something?" Ryosuke asked.

"What is it?"

"I think you know that girl, right?" Ryosuke straight to the point.

"Which girl?" he asked back for confirmation.

"The girl we saw earlier at the garden." he stated.

"Oh, girl." he silent after that.

"Tell me. You know her right?" Ryosuke asked again. He moved his body to face Daiki, who is lying on his bed. Daiki nodded after a while of silent.

"She is my childhood friend." he replied. Still looking at his phone.

"Oh, you guys didn't talk anymore?" he asked again.

"No, we are still contacting each other. We usual going out together on weekend."

"Then, why aren't you talk to her the other day and earlier?"Ryosuke asked.

"I just didn't want to disturb her date." Daiki replied.

"Eh, that is her boyfriend?" Ryosuke asked, shocked.

"I don't know if they are official right now but the guy asked me to handed her a gift. It's a bracelet." said Daiki.

"Eh, you peeked into the gift?" Ryosuke asked again.

"No, the box accidentally fall down. So, that is why I know the gift is a bracelet. It's quite pretty." he said.

"Then, you give the gift to her?" he asked. Daiki nodded.

"So, what is her reaction?"

"You surely want to know everything right?" Ryosuke chuckles. "Of course she smile when I said it was from Takaki." Daiki a little bit frown when he said that. Ryosuke noticed it even he tried to hide it.
