Silver metal,
Replaces the old one
For you left a shattered mess
In it's place.The doctor couldn't fix it,
Neither could a specialist,
Or any surgeon in the land.
I tried to get a cardiologist to
Look at it, but he said there was no way.So they swept up the old
Stained glass remains
And stuck a metal lump within me.
I feel every thump with a
sharp pain in my chestNow I am cold.
No longer do emotions
cross my face.
I am as artificial as this thing
inside of me.
All because I was a fool
And fell for someone like you.
