So we went to our first competition. We were definately the smallest of teams, but hey at least we have a team. And I couldn't be prouder. They're dedicated, hard workers, and amazing people. We placed 8th out of 14 total teams and that's impressive for a first year team minus Miah and I. When we were doing the push ups and sit ups against Calumet. The grader for them would always comment how they did better. But our grader said we had better leadership, and love for eachother and dedication. And to me that's more than any first place trophy. I know what y'all are thinking of course you say that Trish you're the captain. But I mean all of it. I'd rather have a close knit team that loses but gives their all than a team that's not close and wins. And for push ups all of us got higher that 35 in a minute. And for most of the events we didn't have alot of training for that specific event. As I see it we are only getting better and I can't wait to see what the team is like at the end of the year. We don't look like much more that a bunch of good balls, but we are more than that. But don't get me wrong we are major goofballs. I'm honestly glad that I have them for a team my last year. They're my goofballs and chuckleheads but I love those buttheads. No one gets me laughing and crying as much as them. And you'd be surprise on what they'll (the boys) do if it means getting a hug. It makes me laugh.

Oh and if anyone who's read this that went to Jackson. Share your experience!
