So last night at the colorguard I kind of realised I'm like the motherly one of the battalion. Like when ever a let1s uniform is messed up I pull them aside and help them fix it and when teaching stuff for a colorguard I make sure to like remind everyone what to do. And yesterday it was in the 80s and two of our boys in the colorguard walk quite a distance in uniform and looked like they were gonna pass out and I instantly ran to the car and grabbed them the little bit of water I had and have it to them. I was on them about telling me if they were about and generally was worried through out the whole colorguard that someone might pass out. I guess it was just an eye opener cause this class really does bring out the better in you.
