Yu Hao stood up to go out, unaware that Zi Xuan had been watching him.

To be truthful, Zi Xuan had been watching him all night. It was impossible not to. Yu Hao was so so cute, and great with kids. Somehow it changed his bad-boy demeanour to show the side of him you would want to raise a child with. He was so perfect, especially with Ci Ci, that it was impossible not think of raising a family with him.

Once all the kids were put to bed, they sat downstairs opposite of each other. Both were on their phones, trying their best not to pay attention to the other. Zi Xuan was the first to put his down and speak up.

"So." He started the conversation simply. "You ever think about marrying and having kids?"

"Sometimes. When I look after their kids." Yu Hao shrugged, putting his phone away as well. "I've never really found someone to do it with, though. I don't think I've ever found that type of love." He swallowed, feeling sad for a moment. "Have you?"

Zi Xuan thought back to all the times he had fantasized about it, imagining Yu Hao. He shrugged. "Maybe."

A grin immediately appeared on Yu Hao's face. "Really? Who?"

Zi Xuan shook his head. "It's too long of a story to tell tonight."

Zi Xuan knew Yu Hao wanted to question him more, but luckily he was saved by the front door opening.

They heard someone smacked up against the wall, a moan ringing out, and the wet sound of two people making out.

Yu Hao, knowing exactly what was happening, stood up from the couch. "You'll drive me home, right?" He asked Zi Xuan, who nodded in response.

They walked slowly to the door, unsure of what they would encounter. Yu Hao hoped the Wang's has enough decency to, at least wait until the bedroom to undress each other. He shielded his eyes, just incase.

On the other hand, Zi Xuan wanted to see. He knew it was wrong, but he really hoped something bad was happening at this moment.

Luckily, nothing was. But it was a sight neither of them had seen before. Zhen Wen flushed red, lips swollen from kissing, neck tilted up while Zhen Wu left hickies on his pale skin.

Yu Hao cleared his throat, sliding on his sneakers. "The kids are in bed. We're gonna go home."

Zhen Wen nodded, obviously not paying attention. "Thanks... for... babysitt-sitting, guys." He said in between ragged breaths. "See.. you later."

Zi Xuan opened the door for Yu Hao, smiling at him. The action made Yu Hao blush.

He wasn't used to being taken care of. The last couple months he had lived completely alone and tried not to get close to anyone. For some reason, he could feel himself opening up to Zi Xuan. It scared him. He had learned not to trust people easily, but with Zi Xuan, it was different.

They got into the car, Zi Xuan driving. He turned up the radio a notch, and a sweet love song began to play. Yu Hao rolled his eyes, reaching over the console to turn it off.

Zi Xuan turned, eyes crinkling in a small smile. He wanted to reach over and put his hand on top of Yu Hao's, maybe park the car somewhere, lean over and kiss him.

But he couldn't. He knew he couldn't. They were coworkers, dammit. And Yu Hao was famous and straight. Zi Xuan was normal and... crushing on Yu Hao. They couldn't date. It just... didn't work out.

He focused on the somewhat quiet road ahead. It was almost past midnight, so most places were closing up. Street lamps illuminated the living city, as did traffic lights. Each car was heading somewhere, a thousand stories waiting to be told by a thousand people.

Zi Xuan sighed as they came to a red light, turning his head to look at Yu Hao, who's brows were creased, mouth narrowed in annoyance.

"I really did enjoy looking after the kids with you." Zi Xuan said. Yu Hao only nodded in response. "You know, if you didn't act so pissed off at everyone all the time, I'm sure you wouldn't have to work with me." He shook his head at Yu Hao, who said nothing.

"You wanna know why I act so pissed off all the time?" Yu Hao said, looking up from his lap to gaze into the dark brown eyes of Zi Xuan. "Do you want to know?"

"Yeah." Zi Xuan replied sternly. "Why don't you tell me."

"Okay Zi Xuan, I'll tell you. I'll fucking tell you. Do you fucking know how goddamn hard it is to be around you all the time? It's fucking unbearable. You know why? It's because you're so perfect all the time it makes me sick. I've never seen you mess up a day in your fucking life. You're perfect and you know it." Yu Hao narrowed his eyes at Zi Xuan. "I'm so tired of it. I didn't even want this fucking job." He laughed, unbuckling his seatbelt and pulling the lock on the door. "Thanks for the ride."

Yu Hao jumped out, slammed the door, and completed the steps to his house.
