Viridian eyes watched sadly as her baby, left in the arms of her cousin Lucy. "I'm such a hypocrite, I vowed to never be like my mother. Yet here I am, leaving our child to be raised without her parents." She said on the verge of tears, to only be hugged tightly by her husband. "It's okay Love, you are and will never be anything like Abby. You are giving up our daughter, to save her from a life of being hunted for what she is." Looking up at him she tried to smile, but failed miserably.
"Even so Klaus, I feel like us giving her up will backfire." Sighing Klaus hugged her tighter, "Bonnie, it may blow up in our faces. But at this moment, sending her away to grow up outside of Mystic Falls is the best choice for her. To ensure that Artemis sees her eighteenth birthday, and not to be associated with either the Bennett or Mikaelson names. Besides we both know Lucy will teach her magic, so if she were to be faced with anything she'll be able to protect herself." Klaus said letting her go, "but what if she somehow accesses...." began Bonnie to only be hushed by him, "well let's hope not. Hopefully with her upbringing, she'll never have to access them." He said while watching Lucy put, Artemis into the back of her car. With one last wave Lucy, sped off into the dead of night. It took everything in Bonnie, to not collapse to her knees. She vowed that someday, she would be reunited with her daughter.
