I follow him alone to school again, blending in.
My face warms up and body shaking a little as I stare at him.
I watch Kenny joke and laugh with his friends.
But something is..off...
His smile seems so forced...
Kyle seems to notice too."Hey, Kenny. You alright?"He asks his friend
Kenny's smile becomes even more forced."Yeah, I'm fine!"
Kyle turns ahead of the three of them
My uneasy relief only lasts a second before I notice something going down the side of his face.s that..a scar? Just as I feared, there's a large wound going down one side of his face.
I'll confront him about it after school.
Kenny's POV
Walking to school again.
Still MISERABLE
Weird... I feel like I'm being watched
I turn around."Anyone else feel like they're being watched?"I ask, Kyle shrugs, Stan shakes his head."Whatever."The three of us walk into the school.
