Anaeya was humming to herself in the
lounge room when someone suddenly shut the door, locking it. She whirled around and glanced at Christopher in suprise. He approached her and engulfed her into a hug, shocking the girl.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "I thought you guys were going to finish recording the new song today. Did Mr. Sean ask for me or something?"

"And I thought what we did yesterday would leave you exhausted," he murmured, acting like a kid. The girl blushed at how straightforward he was. "Then, you would stay in bed longer with me."

"Christo, we don't just go around talking about such things. "

"What things? There are no kids here."

"I mean, I'm not ready to let the public know," she uttered, sighing. The girl combed his hair with her fingers to look him in the eye. "I know that you love me, Christo. But, mi amor, Dayana is still young and people could easily misintepret us. We need to take it slow."

"Mm, okay," Christopher said, then he kissed her neck. "At least let me hug you. Te amo."

She laughed, pushing his hands off her waist. "I would hug you if you could keep your hands to yourself. But you can't resist it, not even for three seconds."

"Yo queiro besos," he pouted, leaning in. She tilted her face to the side so that he kissed her cheek instead and pushed him away.

"Christopher, I'm going to continue my work," she said, firmly. Anaeya walked to the door, shaking her head as she smiled at his childlike nature. "You need to go back to work too." Then, she left.

He sighed, missing her already.

She was like a dream. A dream that he wanted to stay in. But she left a little far too early. Too early for the nightmares to step in her absence.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated non-stop in his pocket. Christopher sighed, pulling it out to find his screen filling up with dreadful notifications. He flinched.

She left you, didn't she? I am all eyes and ears. I am all seeing and knowing. You aren't enough for her. You can't run from this. You can't run from me. I will get back at you one way or another.

Anaeya was staring dreamily out the window as she brewed a new pot of coffee when her phone beeped. She frowned. It was too early for a text. She chose to ignore it until it beeped again as Devina came in, greeting her.

"Good morning," she replied, pouring the boiling brown liquid into a cup. "Coffee with milk?" Devina nodded, covering her mouth as she yawned.

A tall boy with messy dark hair and crooked spectacles came in with a bouquet of white and yellow chrysanthemums. Anaeya lifted a questioning eyebrow, recognizing him as Damien.
