NASA OPISINA NA niya kami ngayon at ako naman ay kinakabahan na ng sobra.

Baka kasi magulat yung member ng board of directors dahil ngayon niya ako ipapakilala sa kanila.

Nakaupo ako ngayon sa sofa sa gilid malapit sa lamesa niya habang mahigpit na hawak pillow na naroon. Pinanlamigan na din ako dahil sa kaba.

"They are all ready, Sir. Ikaw nalang ang hinihintay." Sabi nang secretary niya.

Tumayo ito at naglakad sa harapan ng camera na naka konekta sa loob ng conference room.

Umupo ito sa upuan na nasa harap saka niya sinensyahang i on ang camera para makipag video call sa board members.

"Goodmorning, Mr Monroeville. Why did you suddenly call for a meeting?"sabi nung Chief Financial Officer or CFO.

Kita ko lang sa nameplate niya sa gilid.

"I'm going to introduce to you my wife." Sinensyahan niya akong lumapit kaya tumayo ako sa kinauupuan at naglakad papunta sa kanya.

Hinapit nito ang beywang ko kaya napaupo ako sa kandungan nito.

"Savannah Angeles-Monroeville. I know you are surprised but my wife and I have been engaged for a long time and now I decided to introduce her to all of you. I want you to treat her the way you treat me."

I smiled sweetly infront of them when i felt he gently squeeze my waist.

"But how can she be your wife when i saw her in your employees list Mr Monroeville. She's the team leader of your designers team and i—." He was cut off when Mr Monroeville click his tongue.

"Do you have any problem with my wife Mr Executive Director? I do not need to ask permission of who and in what state of life the woman I will marry with." He stop mid way before continuing.

"if you have a problem with her. You can leave that position right now, it's easy to find someone to replace you and who's even more worthy with that." He said. Like he's stating a fact.

"I'm sorry Mr Monroeville. I didn't mean to offend yo-"

"That's good. My company, My rule so if you tried to mistreat my WIFE. It will be your last day in this company do you understand?" He said. His voice is very serious this time yung nakikita ko sa mga tv na naka business mode.

Ah huh? Pinanindigan talaga nitong asawa niya ako? Well hindi naman masama sa pandinig.

"Meeting ajourned." He said.

Namatay na ang video call kaya akmang aalis na ako sa kandungan niya nang hindi ako nito hinayaan.

"I'm sorry, does this position feeling you uncomfortable?" He asked.

Hindi naman sa komportable or hindi ako komportable naiilang lang ako sa posisyon namin ngayon.

"M-medyo nahihiya lang po." I honestly said.

"Don't use 'po'. Call me by my name."He said.

Umalis ako sa pagkakaupo sa kandungan nito at nag isip kong anong itatawag sa kanya.

"Can i call you by your name or do you want me to call you Mr Monroeville?, If it is okay with you or—."

"Hindi naman ata convincing kong Mr. Monroeville ang tawag mo akin since my employees will start calling you Mrs Monroeville." He said

"Gab-Gabriel." Tawag ko sabay tikhim.
He slowly nodded.

I cannot see his face kasi nga naka maskara ito.

Ngayon ko lang napansin na mabait ang trato nito sa akin ngayon.

Maybe he was in his mood? Good mood ata si Boss.

Tumikhim ito kaya tinanggal ko ang pagkakatitig ko rito. Hindi ko napansin nakatitig na pala ako sa kanya.

"Do you want to see my house?" He suddenly asked.

"Po-i mean sige Gab, uuwi na ba tayo?" Nahihiyang tanong ko.

"Well it's your choice?" He asked.
Tumango ako sabay ngiti.

"Let's go home then."sabi niya.

Tumayo siya sa upuan at saka inilahad ang kamay niya sa akin.

Inilagay ko naman ang kamay ko roon, he held it tightly and then his other hand reached my face and caress my jaw.

"Does it hurt?" He asked.

"Ang alin."tanong ko.

"This one."Sabi niya.

"No, hindi naman masakit." Sabi ko.

"Okay." Sabi niya. "Let's go."sabay na kaming naglakad paalis sa opisina niya at sumakay sa elevator.

Medyo gumagaan na ang pakiramdam ko hindi katulad nung kanina na sobra akong kinabahan na parang sasabog sa ang puso ko sa kaba.

I sighed, siguro naman hindi siya masamang tao.

Defense mechanism niya lang siguro niya yun kahapon akala niya kasing isisiwalat ko ang sekreto niya.

I HOLD HER hand tightly. I treated her kindly because I noticed she was trembling with nervousness earlier.
I know she won't really tell anyone about my secret.

Yes, I have trust issues but i also have a feeling that i can trust her. Tyler also sent me her background info and there is nothing suspicious about this woman.

Nalaman ko ring may aso pala siya at nasunog ang mukha nito pero hanggang ngayon ay buhay parin naman.

Pinakuha ko lahat ng gamit pati na ang aso niya at pinadala sa bahay ko.

I ordered my maids to fix her room and I also bought a big bed for her dog.

I just found out now that maybe her dog was her reference kaya niya ako hindi hinusgahan at pinandirian.

Nasa biyahe na kami ngayon papauwi, tinanong ko siya kung gusto niya na bang umuwi tumango naman ito kaya naman ay umuwi nalang din kami.

Mabobored din naman ako sa opisina since wala naman na akong masyadong trabaho.

Tiningnan ko ito sa tabi ko na nakatulog na pala.

Malayo-layo kasi ang bahay ko at nasa loob iyon ng isang village at well secured.

Mostly sa mga nakatira doon is puro batchelor na katulad ko din ang estado sa buhay at may asawa't pamilya na din

I heard my phone rings kaya tiningnan ko ang caller at sinagot iyon.

"Yes mom? Napatawag ka?" Bungad ko sa kabialng linya.

"I heard that you're already married my son! How could you not invited us to your wedding! I'm very disappointed my son!" Pagdadrama ni mommy.

"Mom, you know me. I have issue right? " Sabi ko.

"I know my son, if only i could turn back time and stop her from doing that to you. I'm very sorry nang dahil sakanya ay nasira ang buhay mo." Sabi nito.

Mom knows about certain someone who did this to me.

I want to sue her and let her live the hell i was living when I'm still in my worst year pero hinayaan ko nalang din.

May kasalanan din naman ako kaya iyon nangyari.

Inilagay ko ang ulo niya sa balikat ko at hinayaan ko ito umunan doon para hindi  ito mahirapan.

I hope you're not like them. I seriously hope you're not like them.

I sighed. My married life will start here and i will create precious memories with her even thou ang pangit nang pagkikita namin.

I don't need to pretend. I'm making this relationship real. This isn't really a pretend relationship yun lang ang ipaiisip ko sakanya.

I'll test her if she's really worthy to be my wife.
