chapter 18

I was greeted by the door man as always
"Morning Richard "I said
"It seems as if you forgot your ID card again "he said smiling
"No I didn't ,I just couldn't find it I would request for another one"
"Okay then have a good day"he said
Thanks I replied and got into the elevator and pressed the last floor and in less than ten minutes I got there and walked to my table which was right in front of Jamal's office.i wonder if he is in the office but I was distracted from my thoughts and guess why because I found another cup of coffee on my table
     "Mr William's is really sweet "I thought. A note dropped as I picked the coffee up and I picked it up so that I could read the content and it says
      Please don't go on a date with Mr William's from your admirer
Oh now I am getting confused I thought Mr William's was my admirer and if he isn't then who is and how did he know I was going on a date with Mr William's .
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the intercom "Sandra come into my office now"
"Okay sir"I replied so the coward is already at work and why did he call me to his office am I late anyway I walked to his office and knocked lightly
Knock knock
"Good morning sir" I said
"Morning dear how was your night "
     This is strange I thought
"Fine sir"
"Okay anyway I called you because we have finalised the contract"
"Really"
"Yes Mr William's sent a signed document earlier giving us all we need for the project "
"Oh that nice sir "
"It is indeed very nice" he said smiling as in genuinely smiling
"So prepare what ever is needed for the vacation at California"
"Ok sir I will "
"Very good,make sure all employees get whatever is needed"
"Of course sir they will "
"And let them make use of the company's aeroplane "
"Okay sir"
"Let them know we are leaving tomorrow to be back on Tuesday so everybody is expected at work on Wednesday morning and while we are all there let's forget about anything related to work and by the way we are leaving around 9'o clock"
"Okay sir "i said before walking out of jamals office .
I am really so so happy about this trip,I have always wanted to go to California and I am happy but I have got work to do .
I need to get everything ready as my boss said

Jamals  pov
Yesterday I was so pissed off by my mom .firstly I was trying to calm down and not act rational after mr Williams was obviously  flirting with my Sami right in my present before my mom barged into my office and started telling me shit ,I tried to control myself but I lost it and I told her things that has been on my mind for a really long time and then she started calling my Sami all sort of names I couldn't bear it .
     I asked her about the private investigators because I have this feeling that she had something to do with it and she told me that they didn't only report to me but to her.she called my Sami a whore and told me that she got pregnant by another man but I know too well that Sami was pregnant with my baby and I felt happy defending her something I didn't do back then I found an unexplainable joy defending her ,defending my woman I felt happy .mom told me about her being ugly and even compared her with my secretary ,if only she knew my secretary was Sami. She talked about her mom being unlucky and dieing that was when she asked the investigators to stop reporting. Then finally she talked about being the best mom and wealth but I don't get her cause when the company was handed over to me it was in so many debts I worked so hard to being it up and she has the mind to tell me about being a mom.you see most times I even wonder if she is my real mom I can't just help it thinking she is not my birth mother .
  When she left yesterday I was so upset I even yelled at Stella and she started crying I felt bad and to calm myself i called Sami into my office and stared at her for a couple of minutes I guess maybe hours but it felt like heaven just stareing at her and it worked the magic I calmed down but I started staring at her lips I felt like kissing her but I knew I had to control myself so I left office yesterday with  the excuse that I had a headache.
   When I woke up this morning I remembered about the date she had tonight with Mr Williams so I left her a cup of coffee and a note telling her not to go out with Mr Williams tonight and I gave her work to do concerning the trip I hope she get engrossed in her work and not go to the date although I will keep my eyes on her to make sure she doesn't turn up for the date cause she is mine,totally mine.
    If only she knows what I am planning for the trip.
