chapter 17

Ring Ring 
     My alarm woke me up,it's a bright new day I said .then I got up and started preparing for work,I brushed my teeth,and pulled my night gown ready to bath then I thought about yesterday after jamal's mom left ,Jamal was in a bad mood throughout he even yelled at some employees I felt pity for Stella who he yelled at and she started crying .stella is known as the baby in the company because she crys often.I was waiting for him to also yell at me but he didn't although it was kind of strange because I as his secretary i was always the one that he lashes his anger on but yesterday it was different not only that Jamal also called me into his office and told me to sit down while he stared at me for a long time that was so weird to me although  it happened after he yelled at Stella so I think he feel bad for making her cry so after stareing at me for about an hour he left office with the excuse that he was going home due to headache .
     Although I felt a little bit happy and sad at the same time yesterday because I found out that Jamal didn't just forget me he searched for me I felt really happy and also he called me the love of his life,that means he also never forgot me  .i also felt happy when his mother called me a whore and told him I got pregnant by a random some body but he defended me although he should know that it was our baby I was carrying then but I also felt sad because he knew my mom died due to the private investigators he hired  but he never came to comfort me and that was when I needed him the most that was when I felt like he was there with me even though I couldn't see him but he wasn't there.And why didn't he recognise me ,why didn't he recognise that I was his Sami I thought he was asking for a second chance I thought he wanted me to forgive him and that he wanted to know what happened to our child at least.He could have gotten a private investigator again to find me but he didn't because he doesn't care and because he is still a coward .
       I snapped out of my thought took my hand bag called  John and as usual he told me he is already waiting outside then I picked a lipstick from the dressing table and applied it then I noticed I wasn't wearing my ID card again now where the hell is my ID card and I am gonna be late if I waste time looking for it I said while checking the dressing table if I could find it there but it wasn't there so I decided to go to work again without my ID card maybe I have misplaced that one I concluded and went outside
"Good morning John "I said locking my door
"Morning sweetheart how was your night "
"Fine thank you "though I wasn't in a good mood I always get a good vibe from John cause he is always happy
I settled into the taxi and we took off
"Ring Ring"
"So my best friend now remembers me"
"Oh shut up" cat said
"Don't tell me to shut up you forgot about me since yesterday you didn't even call to find out if jamal recognised me or not"
"I knew he wouldn't recognise you after all I dressed you up "
"Even though you should have called"
"Okay sorry I didn't call"
"No sorry wouldn't do"
"What"
"Yes I said sorry wouldn't do you have to tell me who has been taking up all your time"
"You really want to know "
"Yes of course I do"
"My new boyfriend "
"Oh no"
"Oh yes"
"Don't tell me you already dating the guy you told me about"
"Yes I am dating the sexiest guy I have ever met and am loving him so so much"
"This was the same thing you said about your ex"
"That's different Sami what I feel for him is driving me crazy "
"Crazy"
"Yes I am in Love "
"I hope so"
"Yes I am and I can tell he loves me back anyway you would get to met him very soon"
"Okay "
"How was your meeting with Jamal"
"It was okay he didn't recognise me"
"Okay that's a relief but I can bet that he is searching for you "
"I don't care if he is searching for me or not"
"Sami you have got to make up your mind cause he will surely find out one day "
"Then let's wait till that day anyway  come over tonight I have got to tell you what happened at work yesterday"
"Tell me now"
"I can't I am almost at work"
"Okay"
"I will call you at night  cause I am going on a date"
"You on a date with who"
"Nobody have a good day" I said and switched off the phone
