Ch.16

*Etta's POV*

I called the police and told them what happened. They said they would be there in 2 minutes. I walk toward the old abandon house. Should I go in there by myself?

I walk to the windows and go threw them. I walk and I see Aja and Dan on the floor. But where's Jessica?

"Dan,Aja??" I whisper.

"Who r u?" A boy says.

"I'm....." Should I tell him my name? "I'm Carly" I say.

"Ummm ok why r here?" He says.

I saw a gun in his pocket. He obviously saw me looking at it because he took it out.

Then he points it at me and says "DONT MOVE!!!"

I stand there doing nothing. Then he pulls back the lever and.....

Jessica comes running in and jumps right in front of me. The bullet goes into her chest and she falls on the floor.

Then the police come.

"PUT UR HANDS UP!!!!!" The police say.

Then two girls walk in.

"Ummmmmm...." They both say.

Then the police arrest them.

"Who are these 3?" The police asks me.

"They r my brother and his girlfriend and their friend, I guess" I say.

The police call the ambulance and they come pretty quick.

I'm basically crying at this point and I say "will they be ok??"

"I don't know.... They r going to the hospital now so I can drive u there." One of the police says.

I go into his car. I can't believe Jessica sacrificed her life for me! I didnt even know who she was! I hope everyone's ok!

*Dan's POV*

I wake up in a hospital bed.

"What am I doing here?" I ask Etta.

"Omg ur awake!!!!" She says and hugs me.

"Ouch." I say.

"Sorry." She says.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Long story but basically jessica called me and said where u were so I called the police and went where u guys were. Then this boy almost shot me but Jessica sacrificed her life for me and jumped in front of me. Thank god, they were all arrested" she says.

"Where Aja, IS SHE OK!!!!!???" I ask.

"I don't know, they only let me into ur room." She says.

Then the doctor walks in.

"Oh he's awake..." The doctor says.

"Why do u sound worried?" I ask him.

"Well one of the girls ummmmm... Died..." He says.

"WAIT WHAT???!!! AJA!!!!!" I scream.

I run out of the bed and run to Aja. I hear the doctor scream something but I don't care!!

I walk in and I see Aja.

"Dan!!!!" She says and we hug.

I see her and she's crying!

"It's ok.. I'm here!" I say.

"I'm not crying about that.... Jessica died." She says.

I look over and I see her dead body getting covered by doctors.

Why did this happen? She sacrificed her life for Etta!

If only I was nice to her.
