Chapter Three: That Asshole
***
Deliah's POV
I was about to murder who ever had their hand over my mouth, and by murder I mean kick them in the groin cause that's literally all I can do, when the person suddenly spun me around.
Oh. My gosh. I think I forgot how to breath.
Don't judge me. I know I'm certainly not the only person that freaks out when they see their crush.
"Heyyoo Partner," Armando says with a wink. "So, what brings you here, little lady?"
"Hey, I'm just here for some...stuff"
"What kind of stuff?" Armando asks as he leans forward.
"Ohh, just some...stuff stuff," I say awkwardly and mentally face palm myself.
"Stuff stuff?" Keanu asks and laughs.
Well atleast you made him laugh, Dee.
"Anyways, what are you guys doing here?" I ask trying to cover up my stupidity.
"We just came to get some beer for tonight. The team's having a get together before Thursday's game. Like a drink-day."
"On a monday?"
"Any day is drink-day" Keanu says with a shrug.
"Okay then, well I'll leave you guys to it then. " I say and wave goodbye while walking away.
Don't look back.
Don't look back.
Don't look back.Ahh fudge it.
I looked back and saw Keanu staring at my ass. He then quickly covered it with a cough and a wink.
I didn't know if I should be honored or disgusted. What I do know is I should've watched where I was going because when I turned back around I walked into a waiter walking with a tray full of a lot of breakable dishes and glasses.
How do I know they're breakable? Because they all fell to the ground and broke and the sound echoed through the whole food court. With a quick 'sorry' I quickly speedwalked to the beauty shop without looking back. I'm so not making that mistake again. I entered the beauty shop with no idea what to do. I probably looked like a lost, homeless rat in a maze.
"Good afternoon. May I help you?" A gorgeous woman probably in her late twenties, who obviously mastered the art of make-up, asked me.
"Umm, yess please. I fell down the stairs recently and was looking for something to cover up the bruises." I say with a friendly smile.
"Well then, follow me." We passed a lot of aisles and racks full of make-up and cosmetic necessities. I follow her to the back of the store where a huge sign that said "Concealers and Foundation" stood.
"You can just sit right here" she says politely while dragging a chair out of a corner and placing it infront of a mirror. "I am just going to try and find the right match for your skin tone." I obeyed and sat silently still on the chair while she applied some make-up.
She tested a few colors on my face to find the right color for my skin tone. And after about 10 minutes I walked out of the shop with a bag of make-up that I have no idea how to apply.
I looked at the time on my phone and swore under my breath knowing I'm gonna miss the next bus. So I lightly jogged to the nearest bus stop and luckily caught the bus before it took off. I took out my phone and read a book on wattpad to pass the time. And in what felt like two minutes, the bus stop on my street. I jumped off and made my way to my house. It was already semi-dark outside and I was home alone so that meant movie night with me, myself and I.
