CHAPTER THIRTEEN: Truth Or Dare
***Deliah's POV
Two weeks! Two whole weeks!
Two weeks of being a loner and sitting all by myself at school waiting for Damon to get back from his stupid football camp. Two weeks of having to deal with Andreen and her bitchiness alone.
I look at the clock on the wall then at the time on my phone. 19:05. Damon was suppose to be here five minutes ago. I was rehearsing my angry speech in my head when I heard a car pull up and I ran outside. I see him exiting the car and literally jump on top of him.
"Don't you ever leave me alone for that long again!" I scold him.
"Calm down mama. It was just two weeks." He laughs. "Come we don't have a lot of time." Damon says dragging me into the house.
"What's going on? Time for what?" I ask confused.
"The party. It's in two hours so you go shower and I'll pick out your outfit. Shoo!" He shoo's me off and I obey. I quickly shower and wash my hair then put on my robe and enter my room. Damon comes out of the closet holding a set of clothes. "This is perfect. Now, you change into this and straighten out your hair while I go to my house and get ready. I'll be back in an hour and we can ride from here. See ya." Damon quickly explains and exits the room and then the house. I look at the outfit on my bed. It consisted of a leather skirt and a white knitted top since it was a little chilly tonight. I'm so not wearing this. I'd rather just put on a hoodie and jeans. And like Damon was physically here, reading my mind, he sent a text.
You better be dressed IN THE OUTFIT I PICKED OUT when I get there or else no after party pizza and movie tonight.
Sighing, I put on the outfit and decided to pair it with black military boots and a choker. As for my hair, I dried and straightened it then left it down. I was just done with my hair when Damon arrived.
"Damn. You look hot. And look at that booty!" He said when he entered the room. "Wait, I like the other choker more." He said and went through my drawers to find it.
"Oh no! This can't be!" Damon said dramatically and acted like he was going to faint. "Deliah Lodge owns make-up?" He questions loudly.
"Get outta my drawers you oaf." I say pulling him away.
"Just mascara. And a little lipgloss. That's all I ask." He pleads.
"Nope. My eyelashes are long enough and I have vaseline. Plus I already feel uncomfortable enough. Let's go."
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
And that's how it went until I finally gave in and put on some colored lipgloss and mascara.
"Done! Now lets just go!"
"Time to partay!" Damon yelled as we left the house.
The party was at Keanu's house, no shock there. And it was in full swing.
The dance floor was crowded and there were solo cups everywhere. Girls were either dressed in tiny crops tops with even tinier shorts or in fancy dresses with a full face of make-up. And guys, well they were dressed like guys at a party ready for alcohol and one night stands.
