CHAPTER FOURTY-ONE: CLUELESS
****

Deliah's POV

Two months passed since I took the pregnancy test and I still haven't told Keanu yet. I'm a terrible person, I know but I didn't know how to tell him. I mean I've tried bringing it up but something always gets in the way.

"You gonna eat that, Dee?" Nate's hand was already grabbing at my fries when he pulled me out of my thoughts. "Yes she is, you pig," Keanu says smacking away his hand. "You okay, babe?"

"Yip." I smile and peck his cheek. "You should probably slow down on the fries anyway, Dee." Nate says casually.

"And why would that be, Nate?" Armando asks chuckling nervously.

"Because she must have gained li- fuck!" Armando kicked Nate under the table to keep him from saying the words but we all knew what he was trying to say. I've gained a few pounds, not really in my face or anything but you can definitely see a difference in my abdominal area.

"Fucking idiot." Keanu rolls his eyes. "Didn't your mama teach you anything?"

"Freaking clueless." Damon says and Nate just sat there with puppy dog eyes wondering where he went wrong.

"It's okay guys, Nate was saying it but it wasn't like you guys weren't thinking it. We all know I gained a few and Nate was probably just concerned."

"Actually I just wanted your fries." He states before getting smacked by Damon.

My phone beeps during my intense yoga session, yes yoga. I read somewhere that it can be very beneficial for the baby and since I decided to keep him/her I want to make sure I have a healthy pregnancy. I get up and stretch out my calves while scrolling through my phone. This morning I tried tracking Kelsey's phone and I finally got an exact location. I search the address on Google Maps and grab the car keys.

Twenty minutes later I arrive at a small pink house with a neat and decorative garden. This is where Kelsey lives? Cause I'm getting serious grandma vibes. I walk up to the front door and knock. I sense no movement from the other side and take a walk around the house. It's a quiet neighbourhood, not one person or dog in sight. I knock on the backdoor and it creaks open.

Looking around, I enter the house and immediately discard any grandma related thoughts. The house is a mess and reeks of alcohol. I find the phone I tracked on the kitchen table along with some documents and a gun. Kelsey was changing her name and applying for a new passport. I unlock the phone and surely enough it's filled with pictures of me and Keanu. There are a lot of messages to Ben, must be her new boy toy I heard about. Looking through the texts I can confirm that she hates me, like really hates me.

"that bitch doesn't know what's coming her way."

"She ruined my life."

"She thinks she can steal Keanu and get away with it?"

"I'm gonna kill her with my bare hands. I'm gonna watch the light leave her eyes and love it."

Wow, stalker much? I mean that's just psychotic. "Honey, you back yet? I thought practice ends at 5." The front door opens and footsteps approach the kitchen. Shit, he must have seen the car. Before I can run a tall, black haired guy walks in.

"Who the fuck are- wait, you're Deliah." He says wide eyed.

"Stay way!" I say grabbing a pan. "Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you." He raises his hands in surrender but I notice him glance at the gun on the table and hit him before he grabs it.

"Shit!" He grabs the gun and aims it at me but I quickly hit him again, over and over and over until he's laying on the floor. Pain spreads through my shin and I feel blood trickle down my leg.  "Die, bitch!" He tries to grab the gun again but I step on his hand. I kick him in the face and pick up the gun.

"Stop! Deliah, please you're not a murderer!"

"Yes, I am."

I shoot him twice. Both shots go through his chest. I quickly grab the phone, the gun and the knife he cut me with and make a run for it. The street is still empty when I make it back to my car and no one sees me driving away.

I stop by the river and wipe the gun, knife and phone clean before throwing them in. Now there's only one more thing left to do. I take out my phone and call 911, alerting them about gun shots that were fired in the neighbourhood and give them the address and an anonymous tip that Kelsey wil be home at 5.
