Mal's Pov Becky had fallen asleep on the couch. Her eyes were red and puffy from all the crying. It hurt me seeing her in so much pain. I put a blanket over her and walked into my room. Good thing that I already began to start researching yesterday. Whatever had happened with Becky's parents wasn't an accident. They were killed. How I knew that? Well, I had my sources and I may had been out on patrol yesterday night without Becky. I changed into my uniform. The last thing I had put on were my boots, jacket and bracelets. You guys knew why I began to wear steel toed boots and metal bracelets in high school? And no it wasn't a miss guided fashion sense. It was because when I was 15 I found out that I could "fly". Anyways, I opened my window and looked out of it to make sure that no one was looking.,,Everything's clear...",I mumbled and jumped put of the window. I quickly used my powers to "fly" onto the building's roof which was next to the building where we lived. Then I made my way to the person who took my best friend's parents.
I landed on the roof of an old warehouse and knelt down. In the alley which was between this warehouse and a diner, were the criminals I were looking for. They were waiting for someone. Probably to get their money or whatever the reward was.,,Let's get a better look.",I thought and flew down the building just a little bit, so that I could get into the warehouse through a broken window. While doing that, I hoped that no one would see me. Guess who was wrong? Me.
They saw me and shouted:,,It's Polaris!",,That means Blue Witch's here too.",Iwan Kowaljow shouted. He was the leader of this group and the one I was looking for. They pulled out their guns and shot at me. Really? Shouldn't they know what I could do? I sighed but remembered why I washere.,,Here goes nothing.",I mumbled and I crouched down and looked at them through the window. They were still shooting and more cars came. I used my powers to stopped the bullets from hitting me and then pushed and pulled the criminals towards their cars.

I heard how they cursed and decided that I should jump down. I flew down and landed in the middle of these guys.,,Get her!",Iwan ordered. I shook my head and began to fight against them. Did I use my powers? Not really. I only used them if they wanted to shoot at me. While I was fighting 2 guys at the same time, I remembered the security cameras.,,Shit!",I mumbled and destroyed the cameras quickly. I didn't care about whether the security cameras were broken or not.
But then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Iwan trying to escape. Oh hell to the no! He wouldn't get away that easily! I quickly finished the other guys of. No, I didn't kill them. That was something I would never do on purpose. That was one of Becky's and my rules. Anyways, I stopped Iwan in which I threw him with my powers against the wall of the warehouse. I walked towards him and ripped out a metal rod out of the wall.,,You will listen to me very carefully now.",I began and crouched down. I let the metal rod go around his neck, so that he couldn't run away even if he wanted to.
