Mal's Pov It was the next day and I had woken up on the floor.,,I must've rolled off of the mattress.",I thought and sat up.,,Morning.",Dick greeted me bluntly.,,Morning.",I replied and stood up. I walked into the bathroom to pee. After I was finished, I had washed my hands and left the bathroom to find that dick had left. Where would he be going at this hour? I shrugged and walked in the kitchen.
There, I found Dawn.,,Good morning.",we both said at the same time. I laughed slightly.,,Here have some coffee.",Dawn offered me and handed me a cup of coffee.,,Thanks...Is Hank gone too?",I asked and she nodded.,,Do you want to come with me and Rachel later? I wanted to take her shopping with me. You know, get her mind off of what had happened to her.",Dawn explained.,,I don't wan to be a burden.",I said but she denied it.,,You won't be. She likes you. And besides it'll be more fun.",Dawn meant.,,Ok ok. I'll come with you.",I gave in and drank my coffee.,,I'll go and get Rachel.",I told Dawn and put my cup on the counter. Then I walked to the spare room and knocked softly before walking in.
,,Good morning.",I greeted Rachel. She smiled slightly and looked at me.,,Get ready, ok? Dawn, you and I are going shopping.",I said and she nodded.,,You're afraid.",she stated. I looked at her.,,What do you mean?",i asked and crossed my arms.,,About Becky. We should check on her before going shopping.",Rachel meant. This girl was full of surprises sometimes.,,Ok. I'm gonna talk about this with Dawn and you'll get ready.",I told her and she nodded. I left the room and walked back to Dawn and talked with her about going to visit Becky. She agreed and then got ready. I changed into some black ripped skinny jeans, a light camouflage shirt and put on my boots. Then my green leather jacket on top and viola I was ready to go.
After leaving the apartment Dawn had showed us a little bit around. We would be visiting Becky first and that was why I tried to call her. She didn't answer. That was strange.,,Something's wrong. Becky always answers the phone as quickly as possible.",I said and looked at the others.,,Maybe she's still asleep. We can try it later again, ok? Don't worry about it too much.",Dawn assured me and I nodded. She was right. I was probably overreacting.,,Then let's go shopping.",I meant and we walked into a grocery store...
After we got everything we needed out of the grocery store like food and stuff, Dawn wanted to go clothing shopping with us. I hated shopping for clothes but I agreed to come with them, so I had to. And I didn't neeed to buy anything for me, right?
,,Oh c'mon. Try something on.",Rachel begged me.,,Nope. Why don't you go and try something on.",I told her.,,You're no fun.",Rachel muttered.,,I heard that.",I said and she wandered around and looked at the clothes.,,Why don't you try on some dresses, Mal? Just for the fun of it. If you don't like them, then put them away.",Dawn suggested. I sighed annoyed.,,Ok fine. But I'm only gonna try on like three.",I gave up. Man, were they annoying! I could here both Rachel and Dawn squealing a little. Oh boy. What did I get myself into?
I was in the fitting room and put on the first dress that Dawn and Rachel had got me. It was a bright red one. It wasn't my colour and it didn't fit to my hair colour but because I was nice, I had tried it on and now walked outside.,,It's a pretty dress. But it doesn't fit you.",Rachel meant and was dead honest.,,I know. I realized that when I had looked at it. Funny, right?",I joked a little and walked back into the fitting room and tried on another one.
