Mal and I walked back inside the apartment of Hank and Dawn. They were both talking about something. Probably about the whole situation.,,Hey, sorry about that. Hank can be quite...",Dawn apologized as she walked to us.,,Dramatic? Rude? Angry?",I asked. She chuckled slightly.,,Yeah.",she replied.,,It's ok. Really. Things like that can happen when you see someone again after everything went wrong.",Mal assured her.,,Well, Rachel's gonna sleep in the spare room. Dick on the couch. But we don't have enough room for you two.",Dawn said and looked at us.,,One of you could sleep on a mattress. That'd be more comfortable as sleeping on a chair.",Dawn explained. I nodded.,,That's no problem at all. Mal's gonna stay here and I'll stay in a motel.",I meant and Mal looked at me.,,Dawn, could you excuse us for a second?",Mal asked her and Dawn nodded before walking away.

,,What?",I inquired.,,Why do you want to stay in a motel? Alone?!",Mal said and looked at me.,,You and Dick need to sort things out already and besides that, it's ok. It really is. You don't need me here right now.",I answered.,,I do. Rachel too.",Mal meant.,,If we were all together who knows what could happen. When you or I wouldn't be here but outside then we could warn everyone if something might happen. And you're way better with helping kids with powers, don't forget that.",I told her and she seemed to think about it. After a minute or two, she sighed.,,Ok. But if something happens, call me immediately! Or use your powers, I don't care. Just be very careful.",she said and I nodded.,,I won't be far away but I'm not gonna talk with you guys, while we're staying here.",I added.,,But why? Becky what's your plan?",Mal asked me worried.,,I don't really have one yet. But it's better if we lie low for now. Having friends right now, is an advantage of these bad guys. I don't want to do this, believe me I don't. But if what I'm doing is gonna keep you save, then I'll do it.",I explained and she nodded giving in. I could be very stubborn if I had something in my head.,,Don't worry about me, ok? I'll be fine.",I promised her and put a hand on her shoulder. She nodded again and pulled me in a hug. I returned the hug and we stayed like that for a while.

,,What's going on?",a sudden voice startled us a bit. I let go of Mal and saw Rachel standing there.,,Nothing bad. I'm just not gonna stay here with you guys.",I replied.,,Why?",she asked.,,Here's not enough space and besides that if we divide a little, then we'll have the chance of warning the others if the bad guys should get here.",I answered.,,But you'll come back, right?",Rachel inquired. I walked to her and hugged her.,,I will. I promised to help you and I will.",I promised and let got of her. She nodded. I took my backpack and said my goodbyes. Then I left the apartment.,,Now let's find a motel.",I muttered and left the building to find a motel.

Some hours later
I had found a motel which wasn't that far away. Ok, it was like a 30 minute walk away from the others. But still, I'd be there fast enough if something was wrong. As I sat there thinking about what to do, I decided to explore the city a little bit and go eat somewhere. So, I put on my boots and jacket and then left the motel room.,,I'll be fine.",I said to myself again but I was so wrong....

I was walking around and tried to remember where I went. What? I needed to get back to the motel somehow. But I had the strange feeling of being watched.,,I'm getting paranoid because of all this.",I thought and continued to walk around until I saw a pizzeria. My stomach growled and I laughed slightly.,,It's time for some pizza.",I said to myself and walked inside the pizzeria....

Later
It was getting dark. I was on my way back to the motel and looked around me. Was someone following him or did I just get more paranoid? No one was behind me...I shook my head.,,It's all fine. No one's here.",I muttered but still began to walk faster. I'd be safe in the motel room. No, I was not paranoid.,,Should I call her?",I asked myself but decided against it. I was just being a coward. No one was here!

At the motel
I had finally arrived and opened the door to the room. Then I walked inside and closed the door. I sighed and leaned against it.,,I'm pathetic.",I said and laughed quietly.

,,Oh you're way more than just that.",a sudden voice said and startled me. I looked around. But no one was here! Then out of the bathroom walked a girl. Maybe about 16 years old.,,How did you get in here?",I asked but got hit on the back of my head.,,We have our ways.",a male voice meant. Who were they? My vision got blurry.,,We don't have much time. Finish it.",the girl told her partner.,,No no, children. We need her.",another female voice said. I looked up. Was this a whole family?,,You'll make a great trophy for hour boss.",the woman meant and was hit again and again...Until everything went black....

Don't worry about me me, I had said. I'll be fine, I had said....
