I pulled my hand away.,,I'm sorry.",I said and left the interrogation room. Now I had to find Dick and kick his ass. If only I hadn't left her....  

Mal's Pov
I walked after Dick who was walking outside.,,Ok, calm down a little before everything goes crazy in here.",I said to myself because I knew my problem were my emotions. It was especially harder when I was angry or scared. And I meant like really angry. Then bad things happened to the people around me. My powers were always controlled by my feelings and emotions. I had been working on it for years and for me it was the best to do either yoga or meditate. It helped me relax. Becky brought this idea up some years ago and I did it whenever my powers got out of hand like after a nightmare. Yeah, I did yoga after a nightmare sometimes. Anyways, I was about to kick Dick's ass. If he knew what I knew about Rachel, he would've helped her immediately.

As I stepped outside, I found him quickly. I stomped over to him. He turned around when I stopped in front of him and seemed to be a little surprised.,,What is wrong with you?",I asked him angrily and wanted to punch him in the face which I tried to. But he caught my fist before it made contact with his face.,,What are you talking about?",he inquired and let go of my hand.,,You really are stupid! I'm talking about Rachel.",I told him.,,I called the PD from her hometown. They're sending someone to her house.",Dick said and this time I slapped him.,,What the hell? What was that for?",he asked and held his cheek.

,,That was for leaving her alone in there and not even caring to hear her out. She needs our help. Your help.",I replied and looked at him angrily.,,I can't help her. And what she said was bullshit. Someone probably put her up to this.",he said. I shook my head. ,,Unbelievable.",I muttered.,,I'm going back in and will help her. You can do whatever you want.",I told him and walked back inside.

Back inside, I was intercepted by Amy. She was Dick's partner and new here.,,God, I don't need this right now.",I thought but listened to her because she was asking me some stuff about the Robin case. I answered as good as I could and then guess who came back inside. Dick Grayson walked to us and asked Amy if he could talk with me. She nodded and walked away.,,What?",I asked him.,,I got the call. It's true. Her mother was killed.",he said and I nodded.,,Let's tell her and ask her what she remembers.",I told him and we went to the interrogation room. But the door was open and Rachel wasn't there anymore.,,Where did she go?",I asked myself and got worried. Oh god...What if they had found her?,,We need to find her.",Dick meant and we began to look for her.

We walked through the backdoor and saw how a cop car was driving away. Rachel was in it.,,Oh no.",I muttered and tried to run after the car. It didn't work obviously. I could've used my powers but I wasn't strong enough to move a car on my own. Maybe with some help of Becky....But that wasn't important. Dick ripped me out of my thoughts my saying:,,We gotta go. C'mon." I nodded and followed him to his car. While we were running there, he pulled out his phone and called for help. We got in the car and Dick followed the cop car.

,,This is all my fault. If I hadn't scold you, this wouldn't have happened.",I said while we were driving.,,No don't say that. You couldn't have known that this would happen.",Dick replied.

,,Of course I did. Well, not like this but the whole day I had a bad feeling and when I saw Rachel following this women, I...",I began but Dick interrupted me:,,What do you mean? Did you follow her? Do you stalk her?",,God no! I just....I know more about her than you think.",I said and he looked at me.,,Look at the road.",I told him and he did.,,And you're not the only one who fights crime by putting on a mask.",I added but didn't explain it. He would find out on his own. Why I knew that? Because he was trained and raised by Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman. The best Detective in Gotham. After that it was silent. Maybe it was good because we could find Rachel and save her.

A little later
Dick had parked the car somewhere near this old church. I have never been here before but it looked old and abandoned.,,Let's go.",Dick said and we went inside.

We looked around and checked if someone else was here. But we only found the cop who had kidnapped Rachel. He kept watch. Probably for people like Dick and I.,,What could we do? I could knock him out easily but then Dick would see my powers...",I was thinking about what we could do and walked a little backwards. But as I did that, I knocked over some stuff. Shit! I looked at Dick with an apologetic look on my face. He sighed but got ready. We both moved forward until we walked into this room where the cop was. He turned around and saw Dick. But Dick was faster. He punched the cop in the face and stomach. Then he pulled him towards a mattress and let him fall.,,Well, that's one way to knock someone out.",I said to him. Dick looked annoyed but pulled out his gun. I had my gun in my hands since we stepped inside the church.,,Let's find her.",Dick meant and walked ahead.

Dick kicked open a door and we went on.,,Rachel?",Dick called.,,Rachel are you here?",I asked loudly. Stupid question, I know but what if this was a trap? You could never know.,,Help! Help!",she screamed. Dick and I looked at the ceiling. She was up there. Dick and I began to walk to where her screaming came from but it stopped.,,Rachel?",I asked again more worried than the first time. We could still here something the closer we got to her. It sounded like she was gagging. We stopped in front of a door. The door led to a room. We could see inside it because the door was open. But then it was shut with such a force that Dick who stood in the doorway was thrown backwards against me. We both fell on the ground. Him on top of me.,,Sorry.",he mumbled. I was as red as a tomato by now.,,No problem.",I said. He got up and helped me back on my feet.

,,Rachel? Rachel!",Dick called.,,Open the door!",I shouted. We tried to open it. It didn't work. Not even my powers, which I had used without Dick seeing it, worked. That was strange. We heard screaming from the other side of the door and someone was pushed against the door which had Dick and I take a step back. Then it was quiet.

The door opened again. Dick and I raised our guns and walked inside the room. I looked at the ground but quickly looked away. Did she do this? Had she killed this guy who tried to kill her? Rachel woke up and coughed a little bit. She began to panic. Dick quickly untied her from the chair. I had put my gun away as well as Dick.,,what happened?",Dick asked and took a glance behind him.,,I don't know.",Rachel replied and hugged him. She was crying.,,Please help me.",she begged. Poor girl. She went through so much.,,We need to go.",I meant and broke the silence.

,,I have no place to stay.",Rachel said and let go of Dick to look at me. She couldn't go back to the PD without getting kidnapped again. Dick and I couldn't go back now. We had to help Rachel now.,,You guys could stay with me for the night. Then we can think about what to do first thing in the morning.",I suggested and looked at them.,,Are you sure that it's ok?",Dick asked me.,,Yes. But we need to go now. Before the rest of the cops get here.",I meant and we left the church. We all got in Dick's car and he drove to my apartment.

There, we walked up the stairs and I opened the door. I let Rachel and Dick walk in first before walking in myself and closing the door behind me. Now, I had to explain everything to Becky.,,That could be interesting...",I thought and walked into the living room where Becky was already waiting for me....
