When Mon-El arrived back you assumed nothing good was going to come from it however you met Imra and things seemed a lot lighter. She was a lovely person and you fell for her desperately, but she was from a different time. You were in the 21st Century and she was from the 31st, if the world was normal you'd have never had met but luckily it wasn't.
You were nervously waiting for her to come back to your shared room to ask her something. You knew it wasn't something fair to ask but you had to try. They had all planned to head back to their time once their mission was complete and it wasn't going to be long before that happened. You couldn't bear to live without her.
As the door opened, you jumped up onto your feet, terrified by what she was going to say to your question.
"Hi," she smiled, closing the door behind you.
"Hi," you responded, slightly nervous, unable to stand still.
She cocked her eyebrow, "Is everything okay?"
You let out a sigh sitting down on the edge of the bed, fiddling with the hem of your shirt to try and keep yourself calm before you asked her a question.
Imra joined you, sitting down by your side, resting her hand on your arm.
"What's wrong, Y/N?" She asked, squeezing your arm to reassure you.
"I need to ask you something," you whispered.
She gave you a reassuring smile, leaning in to press her lips to your cheek.
"You can ask me anything."
How were you meant to ask her this? It was asking her to give up her life, everyone else she loved just to stay with you. It was so selfish, but you couldn't lost her.
"Stay," you said without thinking.
"What?" She asked raising to her feet.
"Stay. Stay here in the 21st Century with me," you whispered. "I love you Imra, I don't want to lose you."
She shook her head, "You can't ask me to do that."
You sighed holding your head in your hands knowing it was stupid. She was going to hate you.
"I'm sorry."
Imra pushed your hair out of your face, leaning in to kiss your forehead.
"It's okay, I don't want to lose you either."
You looked her in the eyes. Maybe this was something that you needed to do, not her. You didn't have much here other than her and you were willing to give up this life to be with her.
"Then let me come with you," you stated firmly, standing up too.
"Pardon?"
"I don't want to live without you Imra, please let me come with you," you smiled softly.
"You'd do that for me?" She asked softly.
"I'd do anything for you."
