3rd Person's POV
When the realization hits Jimin he suddenly understands Taehyung inner battle.
Earlier Taehyung had reacted in a way Jimin had never seen, usually he was completely nonchalant and cold faced with the girls he uses. Taehyung wasn't really angry at you, he was more angry at himself for feeling something he didn't understand.
The reason Taehyung hadn't been sadistic with you was hidden under blurry lines, but Jimin was starting to see it clearly.
You knew pain, you knew betrayal and it was something you carried with you despite your smiles and genuine laughter. You didn't let that pain consume you like he and his friends had, you were brave enough to let it go.
Maybe it was time Jimin let go of his.
"My father used to cheat on my mother when I was little" he suddenly says and you look up from your now empty plate and meet his eyes.
He's looking at you but seems distant, cold even, the soft and clumsy Jimin from earlier nowhere in sight and this causes a shiver to run down your spine.
"I'd watch my father bring women home and beat my mother whenever she dared try to ask for an explanation" he says and you feel your entire body warm up at his words, you leave your spoon in your bowl and listen to him
"I'd watch my mother cry day and night" he continues and blinks suddenly coming back to you.
"It hurt my heart to see her suffer that way and I couldn't understand that kind of love" he says and narrows his eyes.
"A love that could make someone hurt to the point where they blow a bullet through their own head" he finishes with a forced laugh and you see the tears in his eyes and this brings the tears to yours.
That's what Taehyung had mentioned so cruelly earlier in the VIP section, Jimin's mother had shot herself.
You reach over and take his hand into yours and you're surprised at how cold they are, he swallows hard.
"I came home and found her with a bullet through her head" he adds and you quickly wipe your tear and hold his hand again.
"You found her" you realize and the tension in your throat hurts as you speak.
"Of course I did" he sneers
"If he did he wouldn't have done shit, he would've probably walked over the body and called the burial company to come get rid it" he sneers but the hurt is present in his voice.
