You stare out the window, your chin placed into the palm of your hand, absentmindedly watching the streets as they go by.
You had spent the major part of your car ride to the club you worked at, Little Angel, looking over your emails like Irene had told you to do but you couldn't really help it when your mind slipped back to your face to face with Taehyung.
You thought the decision of choosing yourself would've at least been seen with a good eye but before you could even tell him what your decision was he was already attacking you for simply standing close to Jungkook.
Yes Jungkook broke your heart.
Yes he walked away from you.
You knew all of this very well but you couldn't not care for him, it just wasn't something you could see yourself capable of doing, of turning away from him when he makes you feel the way he does.
You love Jungkook and there was no doubt about it but the love you have for him is what really pushed you to make this choice.
If you wanted you could be selfish and think more about the fact that he came back to you and stay with him like your heart wished to do, forget everything that happened and start from the beginning but you couldn't and you'd never be able to forgive yourself if you did.
Jungkook loved you and you knew this but you couldn't forget everything that happened and take him back but that didn't mean you were to act like he didn't exist or not have a moment of weakness when he touches you.
It's not like all of this happened months ago, no.
The wounds, the ache and his touch are still so fresh that even with your eyes closed you can imagine them on you and you don't recall not loving every single moment of it even with your heart tearing every second.
