Fear.
There's no telling what scares us from the moment we're born to the moment we leave in a swirl of dust. We gradually figure it out as time goes by, through experiences and through life in general.
There are many things to fear; love, pain, loss and even happiness at times can scare us.
It's a strange logic really, why should happiness scare us, why should it be feared?
Why be afraid of something that can consume you with so much delight that you could get dizzy by the simple sensation?
It's not the idea of being happy that's fearful, it's the idea of everything it consists of and what happens after.
