Third Person Pov

I knew it

The twin dragon slayers thought at the same time, watching the blonde haired maiden happily enter a botique shop. Crocus, being the flower blooming capital makes it a good place to build those kind of playground for girls.

"Well, what else do you expect" Sting sighed while Rogue only nodded in agreement. They both entered the store to find the blonde holding up two chiffon dress with same design but differ in color.

"Sting, Rogue what do you think should I get? The blue one or the pink one?"

The two sat by the round seats in the shop, the female staffs squealing at their looks making the only male staff of the shop to handle them.

Sting lazily looked up at her. "The blue one looks cute. It will compliment your skin" he said, inspectig the delicate fabric at the clothes hanger.

"I prefer the pink one" The shadow dragon slayer said, sighing at her expectant eyes. "It was reflecting your love for strawberries"

Humming at their answer, the blonde turned to look at the mirror switching between one dress and the other

"I wonder which one suits me more"

The two felt a tickmark pop in their temples.

Why did you bother to ask us in the first place?!

Abruptly, Sting clutched the blonde while Rogue approached the sales staff. "We're taking it both"

Lucy shrieked, watching the staff give the shadow dragon slayer two paperbags. "I could only afford one!"

"Shut your girly pitched voice blondie, we're paying" the light dragon slayer said as Rogue handed the bill on the cashier. With that, they left the shop.

"Thank you very much for your patronage!"

"W-why did you guys pay for me" the blonde mumbled as the two turned towards her, questionable looks pasted on their faces.

"We're the one who suggest sightseeing" they said in chorus, each one holding the bag of their preferred color for the blonde.

"Any minute passing inside that store means death" Sting cringed, careful not to reminisce the eardrum bursting squealing of the girls and suffocating amount of glitters in the shop.

The blonde pouted. "Well, thank you for that" then, she looked around. Crocus was a beautiful town, one of those cities whom only the rich people could afford living a life.

The restaurants looked really fancy as well as those people walking around the streets.

Aside from the rich people and fancy establishments on the surroundings, the celestial mage could not help but shiver at the looks given to her by the female population around.

Audible whispers were heard.

"Hey, who is that girl?"

"Why is she beside them? How dare she!"

"Taking the two of them at once? What a slut!"

Tears were about to form in her eyes but a shuddering voice stopped her on doing so.

"You guys are so noisy" it came from Sting who turned on the girls. "Will you all just shut up?"

Rogue took a step beside his twin, his aura making the atmosphere turn cold. "Scram off"

After the people left, a long sigh of relief left the blonde's lungs. The twin turned to her, a reassuring smile in their faces. Sting pinched her cheek.

"Don't worry blondie, we're here for you"

Rogue nodded, a hand sliding down her back. "We're gonna protect you. Have some fun."

Swallowing back her worries and sadness, the blonde smiled. "Thank you guys"

"Well, any place you guys loved here in crocus?" Lucy asked making the two look at her.

"But we're here to tour you around. Why not go around the town, don't worry about being broke we got you" Sting laughed, patting the crown of her head. The blonde blushed in embarrassment.

"I-it's not like that.." she mumbled. "I want you guys to enjoy this too, along with me"

Rogue gently placed a hand on the crown of her head. "Why don't we go to somewhere quiet then" he looked at Sting who nodded in agreement. Then once again, they held each of her hand.

"You know a place?" the blonde mumbled whilst she let the two pull her along.

"That's right. We've found it accidentally. It was a really beautiful place" Rogue smiled followed by a small pout. "We should have brought the exceeds with us"

Sting laughed. "Don't be such a bummer, they were on a vacation with Yuki right?"

"Now, let's gooo!"

Lucy's Pov

"W-wow"

"Isn't it?"

I stared in awe at the scenery laid before my eyes. It was a field filled with different kinds of flowers, a tree at the center. You could see the town from here. It was stunning.

The sun was beginning to set, the sky in hue of yellow orange.

"Who knew something like this existed in some mountainous place right?"

Sting dash off to the tree with his goofy smile, holding the basket filled with food. That explained why they even bought a blanket. A small picnic.

I held the blanket in my arms.

"I apologize your sightseeing was not fun as you expected it to be"

I shifted my eyes on Rogue who stared at his twin as it tripped and rolled on the ground, stood up and laughed hysterically.

"Not at all" I reassured him, beaming a smile. "After all, we are all gonna be together from now on right? There will be lots of fun and missions for us to spend. No rushing things. Just enjoying every second of it."

My face reddened.

That's my writer side speaking.

"Ahhh, let's go Sting might gobble up the food before we arrive"

Then, I ran off.

I sat beside Sting, Rogue following shortly as he sat beside me, leaning his back in the tree.

"I think the event is gonne start" I mumbled, looking at the pile of people compressing in the park and people in their balconies.

I heard soft snores coming from Rogue who fell asleep the moment his eyelids close. Sting handed me a cup of pudding and a plastic spoon.

"Don't worry about Rogue, he's usually like that" then, he grabbed a piece of potato chip, placing it in his mouth.

I hummed, taking the lid of the cup off, scooping a hefty amout of the sweet dessert into my mouth.

"Hey Lucy-san"

I turned towards Sting as he placed a thumb in my cheek, running it down the edge of my lips. He licked his thumb. I blushed at the touch.

"W-whaaa---"

Then, fireworks shot in the sky one after another bursting into different colors filling the dark blue sky.

That, of course, awakened the shadow dragon slayer beside me. He looked at me, smiled warmly then placed his head in my shoulder. Sting did the same.

I can feel my heart beat faster and the pressure applied in my frail body made my shoulders numb.

I am contented.

And I hope this feeling would last forever.
