Part 5

The next day I woke up a bit late, so I had to get ready very quickly to catch the bus and get in just in time. I let out a soft yawn as David walked up to me and pinched my cheek before pulling me into a soft and warm hug which made my day's beginning way better.

-"You seem really tired Rubby~"
-"Yeah I feel exactly like that..."

I rubbed my eyes and stretched a bit as hugged him a bit tighter than let go as I just kept glaring at the ground, remembering the yesterday. Alexa.... I thought you were a good friend... was it all just a game for you....?

We arrived in the building and Dav saw that my mood was low but didn't say a word, William greeted us very cheerfully and asked if we knew where Alexa was.. of course I didn't answer first because I was lost in my mind and didn't even know what was going on, second I didn't care and didn't even want to know where she was or anywhere near...

They both looked at me once or twice, I could feel that the atmosphere went lower as William started to worry as well but they luckily just let me with myself, David and William both got a hold on my hands from both sides like two brothers and walked into the class with me, the first lesson started.

I got more and more nervous as the minutes spent, the clock was going so slow like the time was about to stop and I softly sighed as believed that Alexa won't come to school today, but as soon as I was thinking that and got a bit more relaxed she stepped in and said a quick excuse to the teacher for being late.

My heart just stopped, I was trying to think straight and gulped a bit, as I was watching her she caught my eye contact and smirked making me look down at my desk as soon as possible.

The class went very slowly as I was trying not to panic too much then calmed myself down. I let out a yawn and rested down my head onto the desk, slowly falling asleep.

30 minutes later

I woke up to feel someone poking my side and shoulders, I rubbed my eyes before opening them and stretched longly. I saw David and William next to me, looking at me worriedly and I saw Alexa right in front of me which made my stomach hurt a lot.

-Rubes you feeling okay? If not tell us and you could maybe go home, if you're sick or just tired... a day off really wouldn't hurt you.

-Yeah little girl you need enough rest and care! So now no saying no we're taking you home!

And with that David lifted me up in his arms and I just started moving as he started walking to the entrance of the building.

-No Dav I'm fine I swear.... just a bit tired that's it I'm fine and I'll be okay trust me. I'm gonna be alright.

He sighed softly.

-Promise me you will tell right away if you're feeling worse or too tired for something, Alright?

I nodded and she put me down onto the floor and we walked to class. Luckily during the day Alexa didn't talk to me just to ask for a pen when she forgot her own one. After school David had something to do so William walked me home for his order and I thanked him quickly before walking into the house and locking my door.

1 hour later I got a message from Alexa as I saw scrolling down through my pictures on my laptop.

I let out a sigh and opened the message.
