As I walked out I could hear the yells, commotion and people running after me. Tears fell off my face.
"Bella! It's all a lie! Please listen!" Ethan yelled.
"Ethan give her space!" Beth yelled.
"Bella come back!" Grayson butted in.
"Guys let her be!" Shayna said.
"Bella please!" Ethan's voice cracked as he yelled.
"I fucking can't!" I yelled and turned around. I sat on the stair steps in front of me. I put my head in my hands and proceeded to cry.
"What happened Ethan? I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!" I yelled. "I love you so much and that's not enough. It won't ever be enough!"
I was given silence. I felt Bethany walk over to me and pull me into a hug. Everyone else just stood there frozen in their tracks.
"Please give me an answer this time. I'm sick of being let down." I cried.
Ethan sat down next to me. He tried to grab my hand but I pulled my hand away before he could grab it.
"Bella, why would I marry you if I was doing that to you? You know that I'd never ever put you through that. I wouldn't put our baby through that either." A tear fell from his face and I went tense when he said our baby. "Honesty and trust are the two most important things in relationships, and I'm being honest with you right now. I just need your trust." He said.
"How do I know that you're not lying?"
"Think of it this way, why would Julie come in and crash our wedding? Because she's a crazy psycho bitch and all she wants is to ruin people's lives." He said.
"Okay." I whispered. I hugged him and we walked back into the room hand in hand, with everyone else following behind.
This baby can't go through what I went through for their childhood. They can't not have a father.
