"Are you sure about this—?" Hoseok nervously licked his lips as he watched Jimin straighten his tie.
Today was one of the biggest facility celebrations of the year. Every single year, they bring all the leaders and people together, and celebrate the success or the facility and what the future has to hold. Today would also be the day, they decide whether we die or live.
"I'm sure." He nodded.
"How do you know things will be solved—?" He lowered as brows, watching the knife carefully.
"I'm not taking any chances." Jimin ran his fingers through his hair. "I have to protect her."
"What about Jin—?" Hoseok grabbed Jimin's arm before he left. "He's your brother, isn't he—?"
"We're too old for that shit." He scoffed. "Jin made it obvious it's just business now."
"Then why'd he have you two get married—?"
Jimin sighed as he stepped closer to his best friend.
"Jin wants me to believe he's with me, not against me." He explained. "I'm not backing out this time."
"If he doesn't decide to set them free, he'll pay the price of a lifetime."
Hoseok bit his bottom lip. "It's your decision."
Jimin rested his hand on Hoseok's shoulder. "You don't have to watch."
"I've been watching." Hoseok muttered before walking out of the room.
He didn't like that Jimin had to result to violence to help his own wife, when his brother's life was the one at stake. There has to be another way to solve this, and he's willing to try and help in any way.
"You ready—?"
Jimin glanced over his shoulder as Yoongi stepped into the room. "Yeah." He quietly muttered.
"That doesn't sound too promising." Yoongi patted him on the back, not knowing what would happen later on today. "There's nothing to worry about."
"There's nothing to worry about—?" Jimin questioned Yoongi's words. "Are you serious?"
"How many times have we told you, we've got your back with El." Yoongi narrowed his eyes. "If it's the others you're worried about, then I don't know what to tell you."
