A group of guards immediately surround Jimin as he held the gun up to Mr Hokanson's head. It's on them for not thinking he'd pull a stunt like that a second time. I noticed Shaw let out a deep breath, thankful it wasn't him out there."Let them go, and you won't die." Jimin mumbled as he pressed the metal closer to his head. "I won't take no for a fucking answer."
"Jin." The man spoke through his teeth. "Get this lunatic away from me."
Jimin clicked the safety as soon as his brother took a step. Jungkook's hands were sweaty as he held onto me and Taehyung. I was worried about him. The guy who was up there, pointing a gun at someone who could put him in jail for the rest of his life after this was over. I looked closer and noticed something.
"Oh my god—the gun's not loaded." I began to panic while Jungkook and Taehyung followed my eyes.
I dropped Jungkook's hand, and took a step forward as his arm tried to grab my wrist. "What the hell are you doing El—?" He worriedly whispered.
"He has no fucking gun." I jerked my arm away. "I need to help him."
"Wait." Taehyung rushed to my side. "I'll do it, I don't want you hurting yourself."
"No, Taehyung." I stopped him. "I've already gotten you two into this mess—"
"Please." He placed both his hands on the gun, before taking it from me.
"Be careful." I bit my trembling lip as he gripped the gun in his right hand.
"I will." He smiled. "You two get the rest of the trainees out of the facility and get Ceres and her people to attack, now."
"Okay." I muttered, using my sleeve to wipe away the fallen tear.
"Taehyung, wait." Jungkook ran forward before he could leave. "Be careful out there, don't shoot unless you have to, okay?"
"Got it." He let out a little sniffle.
"You can do this." Jungkook rubbed his back.
Taehyung nodded his head to them both, giving them a signal that it was okay to sneak the other trainees out the door, since no one was paying attention to them. He hid the gun under his pants and tucked his white shirt over it.
"Jimin, you can't do this." Jin disappointingly started at his brother. "It's not in any of our hands."
The man lowered his brows. "You're talking about the girl?" He scoffed. "Don't tell me you've grown feelings for one of them?"
Blood boiled beneath Jimin's tan skin, burning his aching heart until it was filled with nothing but anger and revenge.
"You thought this whole thing would work out, didn't you—?" The man snickered. "Poor you."
"Shut your fucking mouth." Jimin warned as he moved the gun closer to his neck.
"Jimin, she's just a gi—
His words slowly faded as he squinted his eyes at the door. "They escaped."
"They fucking escaped—!" He shouted to the guards who stood there like idiots. "Don't bother bringing them back, just kill them and we'll dispose of the bodies later."
Jimin clicked the trigger, but nothing happened. No loud boom, no blood, nothing. Jimin's face went pale as he stepped back, and Taehyung new it was time for him to step in.
"Jimin, catch—" Taehyung tossed the gun into the air, watching for it to land in Jimin's hands when three bullets punctured his thigh.
Jimin let the gun drop to the floor as he quickly ran over to the wounded boy, already surrounded by a puddle of blood.
"Don't shoot—!" Jin shouted as he ordered the guards to stand back.
"Fuck." Jimin hissed as he quickly pulled his jacket off, tying it around Taehyung's bleeding thigh.
"He needs medical attention." Jimin frustratedly yelled out, but no one moved a muscle. "Is anyone fucking lis—" His brows lowered as he glanced out the room's giant window.
"Oh shit."
Thousands of armed men and woman charged down the grassy hill, coming straight to the facility. This isn't what Jimin meant when he said bring your army.
"You brought them here—?" Jin slowly shook his head as he gazed down at his brother.
"I had to." Jimin turned back as he put his focus on the boy.
"You need to get out of here." Jin grabbed the back of Jimin's shirt, as everyone else already ran for their lives two minutes ago. "They'll kill anyone in there way Jimin—get up." Jin shouted.
"I didn't do all this fucking shit to have them die like this." Jimin panted as he pushed his hands down to Taehyung's chest. "Fucking wake up."
Jin noticed Jimin's shaky hands, and pulled them away. "Let me do it."
Jimin moved aside, letting Jin try to get his heart beat started again. Jin was out of breath by the third set of chest compressions. "We have to leave him here." Jin licked his bottom lips as he pulled Jimin by his arm.
"No I have to—"
"He's fucking dead Jimin—!"
"I didn't want to tell you." Jin's breath went on and off, as his chest rose and fell. "He's dead."
"No—
"He's dead—!" Jin shouted as he tried to get it through his head. "We have to leave, now—!"
Jimin's eyes watered as he glanced down at the blood that reached his shoes. "It's my fault—it's all my fucking fault."
Two hands wrapped around each of Jimin's arms as Yoongi helped Jin forcefully drag him out the room, where they'd be safe from the blood shedding.
In a matter of seconds, the facility was torn to pieces.
Everyone still inside, would be dead.
It was all over.
I placed my hands over my head, as we were told to protect ourselves from any debris. Guards blocked us from leaving, and kept us near the garden, as it would be their rescue zone. Three explosions went off, and my adrenaline kicked off, making me jolt past the guards and towards the burning building.
I ran straight towards Jimin, jumping into his arms as we fell into the mud. I refused to let him go, and held onto his bleeding face. Something about his eyes were different. It reminded me of when I first found him alive, but seconds near death. I laid my head against his shoulder, sobbing onto his shirt.
Everything is gone.
