Two days passed quicker than anyone would expected, but the pace of battle between Shen Wei and Veles didn't reduced even in a slightest bit.

Both were still agilely moving, hurting their opponents with deadly attacks, their breaths were as even as before, not losing any rhythms as they move about.

They both had tremendous healing power, that even when they got hurt it will be healed in just a moment.

Shen Wei cursed high and low in his heart, he realized that he could only stall some times until Zhao Yunlan was safely transported out of the cave.
And it depended on how well Perun did his job. He knew that Perun had entered the cave successfully but he didn't get any sign from him afterwards. And it gave Shen Wei a shrill on his spine.

Something must gone wrong. Very wrong.

And he was right. Deep inside the cave, Perun, who was successfully found Kunlun, still couldn't figure out how to transport Kunlun outside the cave or break the spell Veles put on him.

It was an intricate spell, different from the one Veles used to trap Perun's wive thousands years ago. Looks like Veles really wanted to imprison Kunlun for good this time.

Perun collected his spell on the palm of his hands, hoping that it would somehow cracked slightly to give some opening to be breached.

His whole body emanating a golden aura, he had exerted most of his powers on his palm before finally decided to hit the casket with it.

The earth shattered, a very loud voice was heard and it reached the ears of both parties who were battling outside.

Veles smirked victoriously, he laughed eerily at his opponent who tried to reign his breath.

"Clever move, Ghost King. But Perun wouldn't be able to break my seal, Kunlun will be sealed there for eternity should i perish in your hands.I've told you, back away and let us go safely, i'll make sure of his well being with me. And you, you will have his mountain range, river banks, and every beasts and vegetation which was previously his. Isn't it very generous of me?"

Veles said the words arrogantly, knowing full well of Shen Wei's frustration.

Shen Wei's eyes glinted in a deep crimson, the dark mists covering his whole being. He didn't care if he was becoming his old self again and being reigned by his rage, as long as he could see Kunlun again.

"But you don't understand, HE is my mountain range, a river that flows eternally in my veins, a beast that beats deep in my heart, and a rotten vegetation i dearly keep in my soul. HE is me, as i am HIM!"

His body shuddered in anger, how dare Veles insult Kunlun like that, as if Kunlun was just a trophy, something to be bartered. For Shen Wei, Kunlun was irreplaceable.

He charged full speed at Veles, throwing his full body in a circling motion while holding his dagger, slashing into the air.

Shen Wei pointed his attack to Veles's vital points, but as the dagger came in contact with the protective barries, Shen Wei's lithe body was propelled spirally away from Veles.

He hit the ground hard, a screeching sound was heard sharply when his body was dragged along the path on the ground.

The garment on his arm were cut open by the impact on the ground, Shen Wei's arm was scratched and bleed.

He coughed, feeling a heavy burden on his chest. He looked up, finding Veles smirked victoriously at him.

And at that critical moment, Veles charged at him in a lightning speed. He wanted to stop the former Ghost King once and for all, he didn't want any delay in making Kunlun his.
