6th period ended quickly. Playing the piano is much more fun than I thought. I had a great time, lots of struggled but my teacher said I'll get it down in no problem. I walked to 7th period and weirdly Bradley didn't appear in class... it was really weird. Maybe he went home. Hopefully he went home...
Right before class ended, school security pulled me out of class and took me to detention. I forgot to mention this, but sometime things get so bad at this school that we have to have school security. It's sucks... I sat in the in front of the class that held detention for today. Only cause if Kaito really does have detention today, I can be the first person out of the class when it ends. Sadly... it was only Kaito and I, plus the teacher.
"I don't care what you do besides leave the classroom for an hour." The teacher said then went back to watch whatever he was watching on his tablet. Kaito decided to sit by me.
"Hey." He smiled. I rolled my eyes and put in my earphones blasting my music so I couldn't hear him. When detention finally ended I got up and granny power walked away from Kaito. I got in front of the school only to see Bradley and 4 other football players with him.
"I missed you so much, I thought I was in love." Bradley smirked walking towards me as he popped his knuckles.
"I can't take on 5 guys by myself!" I thought to myself backing up. I swirled around them and began to sprint as they chased me. "WHY DOES THIS FEEL LIKE DEJA'VU?!?!?!" I thought to myself. I turned a few corners then ran into the first alley I saw. Bradley and his friends cornered me, my back up against the wall.
"Nowhere to run freak." Bradley smirked.
"How's your mike an ike dick doing asshat?" I smirked. "What the actual fuck Kaede!Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" I thought to myself trying to keep my legs from shaking.
"You little piece of shit!" Bradley throwing his fist towards me. I quickly squat down allowing his fist to collide with the brick wall behind me. He began to scream so I shoved him backwards. As he fell to the ground a jock came beside me and punched me in the stomach knocking me to me knees. Another guy in front of me stepped on my head forcing it against the pavement. I grunted trying to lift it up but only to be pushed down harder. I closed my eyes only to see Takashi kissing another man... Why?
All of a sudden the weight on my head was lifted. I quickly shot up seeing Kaito punch the jock over and over again. I watched as Bradley got up, he ran at Kaito. Kaito quickly turned around but only to be pushed to the ground. I sprung up on my feet and tackled Bradley off Kaito. Kaito tackled the other three jocks and they ran.
"Go home Kaede." Kaito said pulling me off of Bradley who seemed scared.
"Don't touch me." I sneered pushing Kaito away from me. I grabbed my backpack and ran for it hoping never to see them again.
"What are you doing home so late!" My aunt looked at me, then her eyes widen. "Why is there a cut on her lip!? Are you okay!?" She began to freak.
"I'm fine, I smiled and my lip cracked open." I lied.
"Whatever you say." She sighed shaking her head in disapproval then walked off.
"KAEDE!" Jun hugged my leg from behind.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Play with me!" He ordered as Hide smiled watching us from beside me.
"I can't, I've got tons of homework." I pinched his cheeks. He puffed out his cheeks. "Forgive me." I faked a smile. He let go of me and I slipped up the stairs to my room.
Later that night I woke up to my aunt knocking on my door telling me it was dinner time.
"Crap!" I thought to myself. I looked in the mirror and fixed my hair so Jun or Hide couldn't tell I fell asleep. I sat at the dinner table seeing fried mushrooms with seasoned steak and salad.
"Thank you." I looked at my aunt she smiled.
"Brother you lied!" Jun announced.
"What?"
"You said you had to do homework but you lied and you took a nap instead." Jun glared at me as I heard a sigh from Hide.
"I'm sorry, I got tired and passed out." I weakly smiled. Jun puffed out his cheeks as he shoved a mushroom in his mouth. I looked down at my food. Great... I have no appetite now...
The next morning I woke up and slipped on dark grey skinny jeans with a black long sleeve. I grabbed my phone, earphones, and my backpack.
"Already leaving for school?" My aunt was sitting at the kitchen table.
"Yeah." I tried to move past her.
"Look, I know you don't trust me yet, and that's okay, but don't abandon your brothers."
"They have you, no one needs me anymore." I then quickly left before she could say anything. It's still early... I yawned putting my earphones on. The school seemed dead as ever. I went to the back table in the library hidden behind bookshelves.
Someone grabbed onto my shoulders shaking me. I looked up to see Kaito.
"I yelled your name for the past 5 minutes!" Kaito said angrily. I shrugged and put my earphones back on. "Don't ignore me! I own you!" He ripped my earphones off.
"Don't you dare!" I gripped on my earphones yanking them from his grip. "Stop bothering me, you don't own shit." I spat. I pushed past him.
"You'll regret those words." He smirked.
"Doubt it."
Later that day, I was walking to my 7th period when the principal turned on the inner com.
"I have some sad news ladies and gentlemen..." He trailed off. "Bradley Houston, the quarterback was found day in the river by big tree park." I stopped in my tracks as my stomach sank.
"W-what?" I heard people began to murmur, some girl in front of me broke down crying.
"You understand now, right? You belong to me." Kaito whispered in my ear from behind me.
"Bastard." I raised my voice as I went to slap him. He caught my wrist pulling me towards him.
"Hmmm... it's too public here." He murmured then pulled me along.
"S-stop!" I tried to pull back but I couldn't get out from his grip. He yanked me into the bathroom and locked us into a stall. "Stay away from me." I glared at him.
"I love that look, it turns me on." He licked his lips. He walked towards me as I backed up to the wall. It's a big stall so if I can distract him... I'll be fine... right? He lunged at me, I quickly moved to the side making him hit his head on the wall. I quickly ran unlocking the stall and out of the bathroom. That was too easy... shit! I forgot I have detention with the psycho!! I'm gonna get killed... I decided to skip 7th because if I was anywhere near the psycho, I could die just from a glare. I decided to call my aunt.
"Hello?" Yes! She answered the phone.
"Hey, I was wondering, at 4:30 could you pick me up?"
"Yeah, but why so late?"
"I got detention for being late to a class."
"Alright but no more being late." She sounded sturn.
"Deal."
