"Remember-" Mason started as we walked down the street to the house the party was going to be located at. Mason was keeping really close and I think a reason to it is that he's the oldest so he's in charge and is extra protective of me right now.
I cut him off rolling eyes at him. "Don't talk to strangers. No drinking. Don't speak to creepy guys. Don't take a drink from anyone. Blah blah blah Guys stop worrying so much. I'll be fine! I'm not five" I told them. I truly think they thought that I can't take care of myself because by the way they are acting right now is just ridiculous. They have gone over this shit at least ten times during the day.
The sun was setting and it was getting kind of dark but you could still see all the scenery around us. This area of the town was definitely rich. The big fancy houses were all lines up against the giant street and all the greenery was cut to perfection. The music was getting louder and Nichole let out a little shriek and gripped onto my arm. She was wearing a black body tight dress along with a jean jacket on top of it while I was wearing shorts along with a tank top. That was originally all I was going to wear but when Noah found me before we were going to leave he went right over to my bag and grabbed a hoodie and put it over my head making me look like I was stuck in a cocoon. Dragging the hoodie down so I could get some air and actually see Noah I gave him a death glare.
"I'm not wearing this to the party"
"Well you're definitely not just wearing that"
"Says who"
"Says me"
I gave him a flat look and started taking it off again but he grabbed hold of it and dragged it down again.
"Noah"
"Marble"
"I am not wearing a hoodie! I'm going to sweat my balls off!"
"Firstly. The only balls you have is by your chest and they're inflated. Secondly. You're not just wearing that" Noah shot at me making my mouth fall open.
He stared at me for a second before he started laughing. I hit his chest and walked over to my bed and took off the hoodie. Going through my bag I found a thin kind of jacket and put it over and gave Noah a look if to ask "What about this?"
"Fine"
Now walking up to the giant mansion you could practically feel the music vibrate under your feet. The place was absolutely filled with people dancing, laughing, making out and it was all very new to me. I've only been to one party before which was at the start of summer break that my brothers were hosting at our house and I had to beg them for a whole week for them to let me go.
Cole grabbed my arm as we walked through the door and as we went further into the house Noah and Luke had already walked off with their friends. After some time both Cole and Mason had started talking to people around them and that's when I managed to sneak away from them. I really didn't need to be babysat. I'm not a baby and I can take care of myself. And either way, I have Nichole and Simon by my side.
"Let's go dance!" Nichole screamed and dragged me and Simon over to the big living room. There was also a DJ standing at the end of the room playing songs. The song Promises were playing and we started dancing to the beat of the song with everyone else in the room.
After an hour of dancing and laughing, we were started to get excused so we went over to the kitchen to grab something to drink.
"What do you want?" I asked them.
"Coke" They both answered. I grabbed two cokes and give it to them. They told me that they were going outside. I nodded and told them I will be out in a minute. I got a red solo cup and filled it up with tap water.
