"Riot, Danger is waiting outside." I heard Flynn speak outside my bedroom door. I sighed while keeping my eyes shut.
I was ready and I kept myself ready. It was all fine until I realized I had to let him go. Aalis siya dahil sinabi ko, hindi ako nagsisisi pero nasasaktan ako.
I just want him to explore all the possibilities out there waiting for him and I know he shouldn't seclude himself from all the chances he couldn't get if he stuck himself with me.
"Bababa na!" I shouted in response. Hindi na siya sumagot pa pero kumatok lang siya ng isang beses para sabihing aalis na siya.
I chose this and I'm happy. Natatakot lang talaga ako, natatakot ako na may magbago. I'm so fulfilled by all the memories we had and I don't want anything to change.
Ang daming what if's... Kaya mas lalo akong natatakot.
I trust Danger, I've told him that a million times and I don't care if he gets tired of hearing that.
If my words aren't enough, then maybe my actions will be.
"Hey," he greeted me once he saw me. He's scouting this whole boyfriend material look while leaning on his car.
I don't know what to feel, I don't know what to sayㅡall I want to do is to hug him tight, so tight he won't ever be to let go.
And so I did, I ran to him and hug him as tight as I could. He was taken aback but he hugged me back.
"Sabi ko naman sa'yo na hindi mo na kailangan sumama." I shook my head as I was snuggling more to his chest. "I want to see you before you go."
"But you're hurting because of me." Again, I shook my head. "I'm hurting because I chose to hurt myself."
The ride didn't went smooth. Parang may bigat na dumadagan sa puso ko habang lumilipas ang oras. Yinayakap lang ako ni Danger at nanatiling magkahawak ang aming kamay.
"You're awfully quiet, Riot. Kausapin mo naman ako. Tell my anything. Tell me your thoughts even if it's killing you," he said in the middle of the silence.
Kanina pa talaga ako tahimik. Ayaw ko kasi sayangin oras ko. I would rather spend my time cuddling with him than blurting out my problems that would only hurt us.
"Stay with me, Danger. That's all I have to say."
