Monday mornings are always difficult. After a great weekend it just seems pointless to go back to school.

This monday didn't feel like that though. I was ready to go back if that ment I could see Ethan again.

I decided I would try to look decent today. Just in case something did happen. I was getting used to wearing sweatpants, so putting on jeans felt strange.

When I got to school, I immediately went to find Haylie. We needed to try to get him to notice us again. It would be a sign if he did.

"You ready?" She asks as soon as I spot her.

"Yes I am!" I say as we start walking.

Sabrina came with us today just for fun. She wanted to be a part of this too.

The problem this morning was that we didn't see him. I guess that one time was the only time we were going to get to see him.

"It's okay Alison. We'll see him eventually." Haylie says trying to make me feel better.

"Yeah girl we will! Just have to wait for the right time!" Sabrina says making me laugh.

"I know I know. I just feel like nothing ever happens, and it's getting almost boring. I don't want things to be like this for months."

"I doubt it will be that long. I'm sure within the next few days something will happen. Even if it's something little." Haylie says.

"Or something big. I mean you never know with guys in our school." Sabrina says.

"That's true. But if nothing happens soon I'll just have to forget about everything. It just doesn't seem worth it if I have to wait forever." I say.

"I get it. But don't give up yet. We know he wants something to happen." Haylie says cheering me up a little.

"Yeah I guess so. Let's just hope that's soon." I say laughing.

Later on that day, I was walking back from lunch with Chelsea and Riley. On our way to my locker we saw Ethan.

"Do you still talk to that guy?" Chelsea asked when we got to my locker.

"A little. Not as much as we used to." I answer honestly.

"Well I think that's for the best Alison. He seems like bad news to me." Riley says, making me angry.

"Look I know you guys don't like him and all, but can you please just stop talking about him like that? You don't know him." I say.

"You don't know him either!" Riley snaps.

"I may not know him well, but I know him better than you guys do. The very little time I've spent with him he's been nothing but nice to me. Just give him a chance okay?" I say trying to stay calm.

"Look Alison, just because someone is nice doesn't mean they're a good person. We just want you to be careful, and not end up hurt. We want you to make wise choices. We're saying this out of love, not hate." Chelsea says in an attempt to make things better.

"I get it. I just don't like all the negativity towards him." I say closing my locker.

We started walking back down the hallway towards our next class. I was still a little upset with Chelsea and Riley, but I was trying to just forget about it.

"Hey Alison!" I hear from behind me.

I turn around to see Ethan smiling at me. I walk over to him, hoping we can have a real conversation.

"Hey!" I say smiling.

"I actually have a question for you." He says.

At this point Chelsea and Riley have joined us. They probably wanted to be around to shut him down on what he has to say.
