Wafflehouse spent his days off getting ready for the debate. It was Wednesday evening and he was getting ready for bed. Wafflehouse had work the next morning; he was so happy he got a couple days off to replenish. It was 9 p.m. and he hopped into bed. Typically he couldn't bring himself to go to sleep this early on a regular night. But tonight he actually felt calm enough to sleep. Wafflehouse pulled his blanket over him and relaxed. After a few minutes he finally fell asleep.

Wafflehouse woke up at his typical time; two hours earlier than what he should. Today he wasn't as tired, it took him less to get out of bed and he could actually comprehend. Normally he would stare at the wall for ten minutes to gsther his thought. But today he got straight up and got ready. Wafflehouse walked into his kitchen and looked for food. He walked over to his breadbox and opened it. He sighed as he remembered the event a few days ago.

Wafflehouse grabbed his phone and clicked on an app, he ordered his food and waited. As he waited he walked into the bathroom and attempted to comb his hair. Normally he ran his fingers through it till it looked decent. It took him ten minutes to get his hair to look the way he wanted. Finally, after he was content with the way he looked he brushed his teeth; not forgeting to floss.

Wafflehouse walked back into the kitchen and sat down at his table. He grabbed his old laptop and logged in. Wafflehouse read over the document for the debate a few times, making sure it was all correct. He sat there reading for thirty minutes till a knock at the door interupted him. He jumped up and made his way to the door. Wafflehouse opened it slowly. Nervous that it would be Ihop. When he opened it, he saw a friendly looking girl standing in front of him. The girl had a smile that almost seemed forced.

"Hi, Your Uber Eats is here, we are like PostMates but cheaper." The girl had wide eyes, her facial expression made her look very alert. Wafflehouse disregarded the anxious look she had as she handed him the bag. He smiled back and handed her the money. Wafflehouse went to close the door after thanking her. "Quick question." She spoke quickly before he closed the door. "Why did you get an Unber Eats if McDonald's is right down the street?" Wafflehouse thought it was rude to ask customers questions. They're getting paid so why should they be concerned? But it wasn't a harmful question. Wafflehouse couldn't anwser honestly though so he made something up.

"I just didn't want to sit through traffic." He shrugged and went to close the door, when the door became ajar a foot made it so Wafflehouse couldn't close it.

"You drive the old car?" The girl whispered, she pressed her face up to the door "The red one?" Her hand wrapped around the door.

"Uh, yeah." He kicked her foot back, pushed her hand and closed the door. " Why is everyone from Uber so weird. I thought it was just the drivers." Wafflehouse shivered, he was so uncomfortable. Wafflehouse grabbed opened the bag and grabbed a Sausage Mcmuffin out of it.

He could've drive there himself. The girl was right, it was just down the street. But Wafflehouse didn't to risk the chance of Ronald seeing him. Wafflehouse had never talked to him but it's either a hit or miss with him. He's the most popular restuarant but a lot of people cannot stand him...mostly Wendy's.

Wafflehouse continued to eat the muffin till it was no more. He threw away the bag after he finished it and got dressed in his uniform. He decided he would go into work early to get settled.

Wafflehouse made his way out of his house to his car. He hopped in and attempted to start it. To his dismay the car wouldn't start. "Damn." He mumbled. He sighed and got out of his car. He shook off the unfortunate event, nothing was going to ruin his day.

Though, he could've sworn that he got gas the other day. Wafflehouse barley goes anywhere so it wouldn't be gone that quickly.

Wafflehouse grabbed his phone and tried to pull up another app. "There's no lyft's around here?" He sighed once more and hesitantly pulled up another app. He typed in his adress and where he needed to go. A few minutes later an Uber pulled up to his house. Wafflehouse walked up to the car and hopped in. The driver looked back at him. It was the same girl from earlier.

"I thought you worked for Uber eats?" Wafflehouse was shocked. The girl's presence made Wafflehouse antsy.

"Can I not work for both for an extra buck?" She snarled. "Plus, the more the workers do in Uber, the less likely we will die when the world ends." She spoke like what she said was normal. Uber began to drive.

"What?" Wafflehouse said in confusion. He could not comprehend how uncomfortable she was making him. "Uh...isn't that doing too much? Shouldn't your boss hire new people?" He tried to keep the conversation going. Maybe it would lighten up at some point and he wouldn't feel so distressed.

"Our boss does just fine. We have to trust his judgement, he is always correct." She glanced back at Wafflehouse through the mirror. Her brown eyes met his. The bags under her eyes were apparent, her eyes with her dark hair made them look glowy. As she looked at Wafflehouse her eyes started to become less wide. She seemed to soften up a little. She glanced away for a moment and looked back at him. "Y'know...I wanted to be a Lyft driver." She spoke quietly as if she didn't want anyone to hear her. "I was unable to get the job." She sounded dissapointed but her face didn't match. She still had on the forced smile. "But my current boss came around when I was upset about not getting it. He told me I failed, that I was a loser, that I would be worthless in the world." Wafflehouse was trying not to panic. What kind of job was this?

His heart was pounding. " But." She spoke a little louder, the disappointment she had in her voice went back to her usual tone. She didn't sound sad or upset in anyway. Her mood seemed to change right then and there. Like she forced herself to stop feeling that way. "He told me I didn't have to be a failure. So he gave me a job here. He didn't have to do that. With him I got to do what I dreamed of doing." She smiled and slowly ran her hand through her black hair. " He blessed me with the best job in the world. I wouldn't leave for anything." Finally she stopped talking for a while untill they pulled onto the street where Wafflehouse's work was located. "I can't leave." She mumbled, Wafflehouse didn't hear. The car slowed down till it was to a complete stop. " We are here." Wafflehouse quickly hopped out of the car and paced into work.

He still gave her five stars on her review.

He took a few minutes to calm himself down. "Well I know I'm going to walk home later." He spoke to himself. He made his way to the kitchen and greeted everyone. All his coworkers eyes were on him as he walked into the kitchen. He wasn't entirely sure why they were but he shrugged it off. Wafflehouse wss still attempting to have a good day.

As Wafflehouse went to get his materials for the day he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to find his boss with her arms crossed. She looked furious.
