A car pulled up next to Denny's car in the dimly lit parking lot. Wafflehouse saw that Arby's was driving the car and Jack was in the passenger seat. Denny's rolled down the window followed by Jack doing the same. " They probably wore their seat belts on the way here." Jack mumbled and motioned towards Denny's and Wafflehouse.
" Jack, how many times do I have to tell you. Seat belts are super uncomfortable on me, they rub my neck and it feels like i'm getting constant rope burn." Arby's sighed and rolled his eyes. This argument was very common for the two, at this point it was almost a car ride ritual.
" But safety first." Jack added " If you had one pair of pants you had to wear and you were uncomfortable in them, you wouldn't just go without pants."
" Yeah, I would go without pants, and you of all people should know this." Arby's gave Jack a look. Jack turned his head quickly as he rolled his eyes and grinned.
" Hi!" The back seat window slowly rolled down, then slowly started to roll back up. It happened a few more times before Arby's snapped.
" I told you not to do that! You're going to break my windows." He sighed as he leaned back in the seat and turned the car off. The back door of the car swung open and there sat Hooter's and Starbucks.
" Oh, didn't know you guys were coming." Denny's gave a slight wave to them.
" Yeah, we didn't have enough people for all the code names." Arby's shrugged casually " Did you not want them to come? I understand if you wouldn't, I wouldn't either if I were you." He chuckled and gave a wink.
" Hey!" Hooter's reached to the front and punched Arby's in the arm.
" Oh, I don't mind, I just didn't know they were coming." Denny's looked around the parking lot. The restaurant was in the distance, close enough for the group to have a good view of who is going in and out of it.
" Are we seriously doing code names?" Wafflehouse chuckled as he finally contributed to the conversation, he crossed his arms as the gentle wind sent a chill up his back.
" Duh, I already changed our names in the group chat." Arby's held up his phone and scrolled through the names. " Yes, I do indeed own an Android before any of you decide to be THAT guy."
" The same group chat that you added me to and kicked me out of a few weeks ago?" Denny's pulled out his phone and checked to see if it was a new group chat or not.
" I'll add them again." Starbucks pulled out her phone and added Wafflehouse and Denny's to the group chat with the code names. " So why are we here?"
" We need you all to find information about why Ihop was at Denny's and now is at Wafflehouse." Denny's pointed towards the building. " We can't do it because our bosses, or worse, Ihop will notice us."
" Infiltration, it's the only way!" Hooters cracked her knuckles " I call going to Denny's, I want one of their shakes."
" I'll go with-" Jack started to say.
" I'll go with Hooters." Starbucks interrupted Jack. The girls got out of the car followed by Jack and Arby's. Jack looked over to Arby's with a sad expression. He just wanted Hooter's to be his partner.
" Then, i'll be with Jack, and Denny's and Wafflehouse can be with each other. Oh, I almost forgot. Everyone call each other by their code names."
" Oh, can I be Blonde?" Hooters jumped and pointed to herself.
" If she gets to be Blonde, can I be Orange?" Jack leaned on the car behind him.
