Okay, so ya'll probably gonna laugh when you hear this but Jay hates storms. And that's wierd because he's a lightning dragon.

But then again, Jay isn't a normal lightning dragon.

Unlike most lightning dragons, during a storm, lightning gathers around him and strikes him.

To be honest, he can't say that it doesn't hurt.

Because it does. His friends don't know about that. Or the fact that his adopted parents just died (A/N R.I.P Ed and Edna).

No, he couldn't tell them that. He was the comic relief of the six dragons.

He would keep them happy, or make jokes to lighten the mood.

But no one knows what's hidden behind a smile.

His eyes weren't exactly normal aswell. Not only are his eyes lightning blue, real lightning comes out of them (A/N if you don't understand, check the picture above). And if doesn't help that if he cries he electrocutes himself.

Jay also wasn't the best at landing.

Sure, he was the fastest out of his friends in the sky. Sure, his agility was like no other's. Sure, he had pretty good flying skills.

But that's all ruined when he lands. He doesn't know why he even flies anymore.

All of his friends laugh at him when he lands. Even Kai, and he doesn't even have proper wings.

So Jay just grins so they think he done it on purpose.

"You gotta land properly this time, Jay, you gotta do it." He spoke encouragly to himself.

Well, he jinxed it. Out of nowhere, a lightning bolt hit him, knocking him off course. Damn that hurt.

The last thing he remembers is falling.

Is he okay?

I hope so.

Do think he done on purpose; like he always does?

Dunno.

Blurred figures surrounded him. He desperatly blinked, trying to clear his vision. Oh great. He thought, once recognizing them as Lloyd, Nya and Kai.

"Jay? Are you okay?" Asked Nya.

Yes. He tried to say. But he couldn't. So he just nodded.

Lloyd spoke next. "What happened up there?"

I was flying, got struck by lightning, and woke up here, but hey, just another day in Dragongo.

Jay sat up "I crashed into a tree."

Kai looked at him funnily. "There was a tree, in the sky?" He said slowly.

"Yes."

No you idiot! Tell them the truth!

Shut up brain!

No! You shut up!

No! You!

I CAN'T BELEIVE I'M HAVING AN ARGUEMENT WITH MYSELF! AHRHAHHAHAEHA!

"Oooookay..." Kai says probably not beleiving Jay.

Suddenly, a rumbling shook the earth.

Out the ground, flew Cole, laughing in enjoyment.

"Hey, everybody!"

"Hey, Cole." Everyone except Jay said.

"Hey, Boulderbrain." Jay snickered.

Cole grinned.

"What up, Zaptrap."

"Dirtclod."

"Sparky."

"Earth-hugger."

"Skyfaller."

"Are you referencing me to 007?"

"Course not, Bond."

Jay huffed knowing that he had lost.

"Wow, I do wnjoy seeing you five argue." All the dragons jumped, upon seeing the stealthiest of them all.

Zane.

"How long have you been there?" Jay asked.

Zane shrugged.

"Way before Nya, who was here way before you all." He replied.

There was an awkward silence.

"Sooo... who wants to go swimming in the lake." Nya asked, not comfortable with the silence.

"Sure." Everyone said, except for Jay.

The five ran to the lake and dived in. Jay just watched.

"Com'on Zaptrap!" Cole shouted.

"Water and electricity don't really mix." Jay said. If the others saw too many of the signs, they may figure out his secret.

Kai whispered something into Lloyd's ear and the green dragon nodded in agreement.

The fire dragon splashed water in Jay's eyes, which caused the lightning dragon to scream in shock, and pain.

Kai laughed, thinking that Jay was just being a wimp, but stopped when the lightning dragon started to twitch randomly.

Jay rubbed at his eyes, back facing his friends.

"Jay?" Worry started to wash over them all.

"Like I said," Jay started through gritted teeth. "Water and electricity don't mix."
