Znae was, well, Zane wasn't normal.
If he flew to small council meetings (which anydragon was allowed to attend), people would whisper about him.
Zane ignored them, and took the pain.
But that was one thing Zane didn't like about himself.
He COULDN'T take the pain.
It was how he was programmed.
He was void of every emotion, and couldn't remember his "father".
Zane wasn't a normal dragon.
He was a Nindroid. His friends don't know of course: imagine how many jokes they would make about him.
So no, he will not, and could not, tell them that.
He wore a visor over his left eye to hide some of the artificial scales that had chipped off.
Here's a fun-fact for you: Zane can keep the truth from them forever, because dragon's age forever. It's only when they are fatally injured can they die.
But this was against his coding, not his brain, or his mind- his coding.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? It's freak-dragon!" Announced a a jet black dragon with a silver and black visor, similar to Zane's, and red eyes.
"Hello Cryptor." Zane replied politely, ignoring the insult.
Zane was in Dragon Woods, waiting for his friends yet again.
Cryptor grinned. "Please, brother, no need for formalities, we know each other."
"I wish you would go away." Zane muttered.
"Be careful what you wish for." Joked one of Cryptor's friends (A/N Guess who it is? 😉).
Zane growled.
"Aww... is Zaney boy angry? Well, wanna know something? I'm better than you, I'm smarter than you, I am more likeable than you and most importantly," Cryptor paused for effect. "I AM NOT A FREAK!"
That was Zane's breaking point.
He lunged at Cryptor and started scratching him randomly. One of Cryptor's friends, Chen, jumped on his back. Znae imediatly got off Cryptor and tried to buck Chen off his back, roaring while doing so. Once the dragon was off him, Morro scratched Zane's face, revealing a small line of titanium. Zane growled and bit Morro's ear. Acronix tackled Zane and punched him over and over. Zane pushed him off by kicking his back paws into his attacker's stomach.
Then, Killow, the stongest dragon there, walked foward, bit down hard on Zane's tail.
Kilow then threw Zane into the air, and flew after him. He then punched Zane, making him fall back down.
Unfortunatley, a peice of rock stuck out of the ground where Zane's head landed, making him see triples of everything.
Zane stood up, but due to being dizzy, stumbled a bit.
Cryptor chuckled then charged at Zane, full speed and head-butted him.
You see, Cryptor was a robot like Zane.
Actually, EXACTLY like Zane. Cryptor was Zane's updated clone.
So the head-but did no damage
Zane growled and told them to back off.
And so they did, and flew away.
Suddenly, he heard laughter.
His friends' laughter. Zane quickly ran to the lake and looked at his reflection.
The titanium skin could be seen cleear as day, his artificial scales ripped off in patches.
Knowing he couldn't let his friends see him like this, he jumped in the lake, swam to the bottom and stayed there.
Lloyd was confused.
Zane was normally here by know.
The five dragons were waiting paitiently for the ice dragon.
"We should just start without him, he's taking ages!" Kai complained.
Soon, all of us agreed with Kai, and ran to play rock.
When Zane was sure they were gone, he carefully climbed out of the water, hoping not to alert anyone.
Suddenly, a beeping noise filled his ears. And of course, a warning came on his internal screen.
"Snow what's the problem?" (A/N Snow is a computer inside of Zane's head. It used to be called screen-person, but Zane felt bad and gave it a name. Snow is my idea, so no stealing without permission). Writing apeared in his vision:
Water has entered circuts.
Permission to reboot?
"Permission granted."
Zane's eyes started to dim. Then they lit up bright, signalling that he had been rebooted.
"Thanks, Snow." Zane lifted his wings to fly but found he couldn't. Another beeping noise.
The affects of the reboot cuts off your dragon abilities for an hour.
"Looks, like I'm walking then. Thanks, again, Snow." Zane sprinted back to his cave so no one could see his face. On the way, he bumped into a black thing.
"Zane?" Cole looked shocked. But the earth dragon's gaze was fixed on his titainium skin.
"Er... I... umm..." Zane struggled to come up with an excuse.
"Zane, what happened to your face?" Cole asked.
"I need to leave." Zane said, moving to walk away. But Cole blocked his path.
"Oh no you don't. Tell me what happened to you. Now."
Snow, overide the reboot affects. Zane mentally ordered.
Overiding affects. Pemmision to system?
Permission granted.
Zane suddenly flew upwards and to his cave.
