"My master, another soul has found its way into the abyss." A translucent dragon stated.
"Good," the mysterious dragon in the room laughed as the other recoiled at his master's actions.
The lower class dragon was scared of him, but he had no choice. His master had freed him, and in return he recieved loyalty, but not a body to live in. The dragon knew everything came with a price, and this poor sould was about to pay.
"I shall go alone this time, if I am not back within a day, come and find me, I would hate to spend an eternify there again."
And with that, he flew off.

Cole struggled to concentrate as he floated around the abyss. He wondered how long he had been here, certainly not more that a couple of days... right?
And besides, no one was going to realize he was gone anyway, they never did. Just as his father didn't notice he ran away from home after, she died.
But he was soon pushed out of his thoughts as a portal appeared.
He heard the laughter, and immediatly knew that this wasn't a good guy.
It was Yang. The crazy ghost dragon.
The story of Yang being abandoned here, wasn't the only one; in fact, there were multiple.
Yang would turn vunerable dragons into his ghost servants, and Cole silently hoped that Yang hadn't spotted him.
But unfortunatly, he did.
Yang flew over and greeted him as if he were a friend.
"Well, hello Cole. Nice day to be stuck in an abyss is it not?"
Cole scoffed, "Shouldn't you be in your precious temple, training you students?"
Yang merely chuckled, "Ah, so you have heard of me. That means you must know what I do with dragons like you. I can offer to help you, all I ask for in return is a sacrifice of the body and your loyalty to others. Do you accept?"
"You wish." Cole knew what Yang was trying to do.
The elder dragon sighed in annoyance. This earth dragon was really ticking him off. Well, time for plan B.
"Looks like we're doing this the hard way."
Before Cole could say anything, Yang grabbed him by the throat and a green mist started to revolve around him.

Nya, Lloyd, Jay, Zane, Kai and Wu were all sprinting outside.
"WhEre CoUlD hE Be?!" Jay screamed so loud that his voice cracked.
Wu had a faint idea for the answer to Jay's question. The others will not like it, but it meant they knew where to look first.
"I think I may know. Lloyd, stay here you are too weak to teleport ."
The energy dragon was about to protest when he realized his uncle was right.
"Kai will stay with you just incase." The fire ninja felt glad he got to stay with his best friend.
"Jay, you are still dealing with your state of depression, thie my affect your actions you stay, Nya will stay with you."
Both of them nodded.
Nya hugged her boyfriend's side and nuzzled his neck.
"That leaves you and I Zane, I would normally do so myself but I will need you to set up any medical teas or remidies we may need for Cole."
What the nindroid said next suprized them all,
"No. I would like to retrieve Cole myself. He saved me, and I would like to return the favour."
Wu nodded.
"Very well, I have a suspiscion he is stuck between realms, the portal should stay open for five minutes, and please do not get stuck yourself."
"I will not."
Zane spreaded his wings and took off. He started spinning round and round until he opened the portal and entered.
It was dark, and there was suprizingly a lot of wind, but that did not block out the screams of agony that sounded a lot like Cole's.
Zane was correct, as he could now see his best friend in a choke hold, being turned into a... ghost?
He would not let this continue.
He head butted the ghost holding Cole, sending him into the abyss. (A/N In this world, ghost dragons can be touched and are solid as they are a type of dragon.)
Zane caught Cole before he shared the same fate.
But his friend was fully a ghost now, and unconcious.
The ice dragon gently glode down back to where the others were aiting after flying throught the portal.

"I wish I never met you!"
"Do not fight against it"
"Can't you just disappear!"
"You can't escape it"
"I want you out of my life!"
"And you cannot defy it"
"Don't even think about coming home!"
"Give it up, Cole."
"I will kill you all!"
"Don't try to resist"
"You always thought I was different!"
"Give it up."

Cole woke up panting heavily.
All his friends were.staring down at him.
But something wasn't... right.
"Why are you all staring at me like that?"
Jay started, "Well, you see Cole..."
"You're a... a..." Kai tried to finish but could not.
So Cole lifted his paw up and loomed himself.
"I'm a ghost."
He let his paw hit the surface below him.
