Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole and Wu backed away as a Golden Light started to form around Lloyd. The young energy dragon didn't react though, he just let himself get lifted up into the air, and barely flinched when a ring of gold exploded around him. Slowly, his scales turned gold, his horns a dark green. The skin between his wings turned into pure golden energy, and his fangs shone gold.
The Overlord laughed and deepened his voice to a growl, "Do you really think that scares me? A light show?"
Lloyd opened his dark green (now glowing) eyes.
"You killed Zane."
Was all he said.
"Who cares about that pitiful Ice Dragon? He was timid, a scrap, a failure and he wasn't even alive in the first place!"
"How dare you." Lloyd let out a burst of energy and sent it at The Overlord, who had surprisingly fast reflexes as he dodged, rolled and shot a blast of Dark Energy at Lloyd. The now Golden Dragon created a shield around himself and sent the blast back.
The Overlord staggered back as it hit him. He spit out a grey tooth.
"A pity; I was hoping to kill you with that one!!!"
He lunged.

A lone skeleton sat in the depths of the Dark Dragon cave. He was fiddling around with something, but in the darkness it was impossible to see what. Another skeleton joined him.
"How's it coming along?" She asked him.
"The interior was easy to replace and recreate, but the exterior was harder so I had to replace it with peices of scrap."
"You're doing your best."
"I know, and I won't fail."

Kai shoved away a Dark Dragon and burned the one that had Nya pinned down.
"Thanks, bro!" She yelled as she scratched an enemy in the eye.
A streak of lightning shot past her as a Dark Dragon flew close by. Jay came zooming after him.
The young lightning dragon punched him in the belly, flew as quick as lightning above him and then struck him in the head and electrocuted him when he finally hit the ground.
"Yes, I can see how you are completely harmless!" Cole shouted as he whacked an enemy in the face.
"Oh, ha ha, very funny, Cole."
"Oh, I'm not joking."
"SHUT UP, BOULDER BRAIN!"
"YOU SHUT UP, ZAP-TRAP!"
"BOTH OF YOU, SHUT UP!" Wu yelled as he turned an enemy to dust by sending out a wave of creation.
Jay and Cole just stared with their jaws dropped.

Lloyd dropped to the ground to avoid getting hit and, with his belly still on the ground, darted underneath the Overlord and scratched him the soft part of his belly.
The Overlord grunted in pain and swiped a claw at Lloyd, who had re-emerged. However, when his claw hit Lloyd's scales, there was a loud clang.
"No..." The Overlord whispered. Impenetrable scales? There was only one other Dragon he knew who had that trait, that look, and that power.
"No, there is no way you're The First Drag-jitzu Master. HE'S DEAD!!"
"Not anymore." Lloyd summoned all his power, and before he let it out he said only three words,
"Vengence. Is. Mine."

"YOU TWO! COME QUICK WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS OUT ON THE FIELD!"
The two skeletons looked up.
The one working quickly press something on his project then closed a compartment.
"This will change the fate of Dragon-Go. It was here before and now it can be here again. It will save everyone." He whispered to the second skeleton.
"It was here just recently as well, right?" She asked.
"Yes, it left ealier this morning, but has now came back."

Kai slowly opened one of his eyes and put his wing down. He gasped in suprise.
There, was all of the Dark Dragons, including the Overlord, as stone. He could see Nya, Cole, Jay, Wu and...
"Lloyd?" The said dragon looked up.
He had not changed appearance sjnce the battle, but now on the inside of his wing was six stars. One large green one in the middle, and a red star, a light blue star, a dark blue star, and a black star. Also, a silver star.
"Kai, guys? We did it?" All of them looked at each other and cheered, and shared a group hug.
Wu just stood a little way away, head downwards.
As the five dragons pulled away, Lloyd remembered his last words to the Overlord, Vengence. Is. Mine.
All of a sudden it hit him hard. Zane was gone. He was gone, and he was never coming back.
His smile fell, and the others must've realised as well; theirs did too.
Cole chuckled sadly, "It's not the same without Zane."
Suddenly he broke into sobs, and so did the others. They hugged each other again, this time to comfort each other rather than in victory.
"He's really gone." Sobbed Jay.
Lloyd nodded tearfully.
Nya wiped away some of her tears and shook her head, "No, he's not gone. He's still with us. In out hearts, in our memories. He will never fade. He was with us then and he is now as well."
Kai smiled tearfully but proudly at his younger sister. She had learnt.
"We will miss you, Zane."
