Cole stared in awe. His best friend was a robot. Obviously he didn't mind that but, why did Zane keep this from them. Immediately, Cole spread out his wings and flew after him.
"Zane! Zane, where are you?" Cole shouted whilst flying around, looking for his icy friend.
The earth dragon spotted a white dragon in a dark cave, supposedly Zane's home.
"Zane?" Cole called out to him gently as he landed next to him.
The ice dragon was crying his eyes out and curled up on the floor in a ball.
Cole let his gaze travel to the dents and scrapes in his friend's skin. He layed down next to Zane and wrapped his wing around him.
"Where does it hurt?" The earth dragon asked. Instead of an immediate reply, Zane just nuzzled into Cole's chest and cried even louder.
"Hey, hey. Shush. It's alright. You're okay. Zane, I need you to tell me what happened, and don't even think about lying."
"Bullies." Zane managed to hoarse out while crying.
Cole stroked the top of Zane's head.
"Tell me who they are." Cole pressed gently.
"Chen... Killow... Acronix... Nadakhan... Morro and C-cryptor." Zane stuttered. Zane cried even more when he said Cryptor's name. The thought of the other Nindroid tormented him.
Cole had heard of these dragons before as they used to pick on Jay, but eventually stopped when Kai found out and talked to them. But if they thought they were big enough to bully Zane, then how wrong they are. After Zane calmed down, Cole would give them a quick visit.
The earth dragon had been to wrapped up in his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed that the weeping had stopped. He looked at Zane only to see the ice dragon had cried so much that he passed out.
"Sleep tight." Cole said and nuzzled him.
Now it was time for that visit.

Cole found the group near a pond.
They were all laughing.
"And then," he could hear Cryptor's say, "he fell straight back down, I mean Killow whacked him hard. Then, what made it so much better is that he banged his head against a rock! He lost all sense of direction! Oh, my! It was so funny!"
Cole perched on a tree and put on his mean bully act.
"It sounds funny." All the other dragons jumped at Cole's sudden appearance. "If you don't mind me asking, who was it that you did this to?"
Cryptor grinned. "Some stupid robot named Zane."
Cole grit his teeth in anger but hid it while saying, "What else did you do?"
"Well, that wasn't the first time we picked on him. A couple of days ago we ambushed his cave and tortured him by smashing him against rocks and burning and electrocuting him. We also half drowned him and when we were done we deactivated him and piled boulders on top of him!" Cryptor and his gang laughed.
Cole had enough of them.
He pounced and smashed into the earth, making an earth quake. He bit down on Cryptor's neck and didn't let go.
It wasn't until two paws grabbed him from behind, did Cole let Cryptor go.
The bullies, terrified for their lives ran off.
"Cole, you could have killed them!" The dragon let go of him and revealed themselves to be Nya.
"Oh, yeah? Well, they almost killed Zane!" The water dragon was confused.
"What do you mean?"
Cole explained the situation to Nya, including the robot part.
Nya was shocked about this, but accepting.
"So, where's Zane now?"
"At his cave, you coming with?"
"Sure."

On the flight to Zane's cave Nya asked an interesting question.
"So have you got any secrets of your own?"
Cole hesitated but he knew he could trust Nya, so he answered truthfully,
"I'm half ghost."
