It's all very well writing a fanfiction for Bucky Barnes or Peter Parker, but there are characters who don't get many fanfictions written about them. A lot of people acknowledge that these characters are underrated, but no one seems to do anything about it. I suggest we stop talking and start doing.
Here is a list of the characters who need more fanfics:
Bruce Banner
Seriously, people, he is the softest, gentlest, sweetest guy in the world and he needs more fanfictions. He needs more love than just being shunned to the side.
Hela
I know, I know, she was literally the evil bitch queen from hel, but still... She'd make one hell of a person for your OC so fall for.
Nebula
She's just misunderstood. And that... that makes her well worth writing fanfics about.
Clint Barton
Even my ten year old sister knows he needs more appreciation. I want a film about what happened in Budapest.
Vision
I mean, I still have this whole grudge against him because I loved JARVIS, but Vision is still so great even though he took away one of my favourite characters. If he's worthy enough to lift Thor's hammer then he's worthy enough to be written about.
Sam Wilson
Sam has a few fanfics written about him, but I search his name on here and it only comes up with 4.5k, which really isn't much in WattPad standards.
Natasha Romanoff
While she does have a fair few fanfics, a lot of them are poorly written and basically all the same story. She needs a LOT more because 1. she's amazing and strong and one of the best characters in the MCU. and TWO. even as a highly straight person I would be willing to sleep with her.
Eric Killmonger
He was the bad guy who's cause I actually rooted for. He deserves more. He is amazing. I have straight guy friends who were talking about how hot he is. And, I get that it's actually REALLY hard to come up with good plot ideas for him, but he needs more.
Darcy Lewis
I think we should've seen more of Darcy. She was pretty great.
Drax
I can understand why it would be hard to write a fanfic for him, but we should all still try.
Peggy Carter
This woman needs more love. Sure, everyone appreciates her, but I see no fanfictions for her. Let's start making them!
James Rhodes
Do I really need to tell you why he deserves more love?
Scott Lang
He's the worlds greatest grandma. Give him more fanfictions.
Groot
You don't necessarily have to make it a romance, but I think that if people actually took the time to think up ideas there would be some great fanfictions out there.
