What happened before

Alexander pov

Where should I begin, I'm Alexander. I'm the king of Norway and the father of three daughters and one son. Oh and I had a psycho wife.

The only reason how me and Nora got together was an arrange marriage. She was fine I guess but I despised her. I didn't want to get married at 16, I wanted to live my life but no I was stuck with her. Then we had our first child Valka. Then I started to change I loved her, but not Nora. She wouldn't even carry her. I was the one to take care of her I washed her, dressed her and fed her.

When I realized that Nora didn't really care about our daughter or liked children . I didn't want to have more children with her. But when Valka was 1 we had another child Ean. I was so happy that we had a boy, but yet again she didn't care and never took care of either of them. So I told her straight up we aren't having anymore kids unless she changes.

" Nora listen we aren't going to have anymore kids unless you help me take care of them."

" ugh whatever your not the boss of me"

Then a year later we had another daughter Elinor, I was obviously happy I love having another daughter. But then again Nora didn't care and was distance. She really needed to grow up, we had three kids and I took care of all three of them. When she told me she was pregnant again. I was shocked 4 kids. I had no clue why she wanted 4 kids when she didn't even wanted to look at them or play with them or even speak to them.

Then we had Ariana and something inside her started to change she would take care of Arianna and the others. And I finally thought we would be a normal family. But no we still weren't. Sure she started to take care of the kids but then when Ean had hit Elinor with his ice powers and Elinor was basically in a coma for 3 days she stayed away again and wouldn't go near them.

Seriously what is wrong with her she needs to grow up.

It started to drive me crazy I had to take care of four kids. First I would wake them up and all three of our daughters had long hair so I had to brush that and then tie it. Them I had to dress all four of them. And that would take forever.

"Owwwwwwwwww that hurts stop!" Elinor yelled as her father was trying to brush her hair

"Well why don't you stop moving then it won't hurt as much" Alexander said frustrated it had been 20 minuets that he had been brushing Elinors hair yet it was still tangled.

"Valka did you get dressed"

"Ummm no"

" what?!?! What were you doing for 20 minuets"

"Noting"

"Ugh go back into your room and get dressed I put your clothes on your bed go now"

"Ok"

"Owwwwwwww" Elinor screamed

" ughhh Elinor are you sure you don't want to cut your hair short it will be much easier to brush"

"NO" Elinor screamed

"Ugh Ean stop bothering your sister!"

Currently Ean was poking Arianna and was causing them to hit each other. Alexander got up and bragged both of them away.

" Ean what have I told you don't bother your sister and get ready why are you still in your pajamas and brush your hair"

After 2 hours Alexander was able to get all four of them dressed, do their hair and get them to eat breakfast. Yet Nora was no where to be seen as always.

"Lin stop that and eat your food"

" no! Your not the boss of me"

" okay then you won't eat then you'll start your lessons early"

"Never mind I'll eat"

" Valka I told you how many times not to read your book at the table it's rude. I know reading is important but not at the table"

"Sorry"

After breakfast Alexander left Arianna with one of the maids since she was three and the other three we starting there lessons. Valka already knew how to read and write and so did Ean a little bit. But today he was going to teach Elinor how to write.

" ok Lin I want you to practice writing each of these letters"

"No"

"Why not"

"Nora said girls shouldn't know how to read and write they should just take care of there family"

Great turns out Nora was messing with them again. She had recently had a drinking problem and when she was drunk she would say nonsense that was on her mind and the kids would listen to her.

" Elinor how many times have I told you don't call your mother by her first name it's rude"

" well she said to call her that"

" don't interrupt me that's also rude, also education is very important you won't get anywhere in life without it. You should be happy because little girls in the village like you aren't allowed to go to a school and learn"

" ok I'm sorry I'll do it now"

" good girl"

After 5 hours of there lessons they were done and Alexander went to get Arianna. He took all four of them out to the court yard for them to play. As they were distracted he went to look for Nora, he haven't seen her all day.

"What the?!? Nora get up" Alexander said as he shoved Nora

He couldn't believe it was she actually sleeping this whole freaking time.

"Ugh leave me alone"

"Get up okay and try to act like a mother and grow up"

"Ugh fine your so annoying"

"Oh I'm annoying, I'm sorry but guess what I'm tired okay I have to take care of four kids all by myself while you do who knows what"

" whatever no one told you to"

" oh yea no one told me to, well guess what your a horrible mother and you don't even speak with any of them"

"Well not everyone's perfect"

"Oh my god I can't deal with you right know"

He left he couldn't believe how selfish she was how could she not care about her own children. He needed to find a way to get rid of her because he wanted his kids to have a normal life and not know that there mother didn't care for them.

" come in now" Alexander said as he went to get all four of them

He scooped up Arianna and took the other three in side it was getting late and they should be going to bed.

He put all four of them in there beds and the day was done.

Just another typical day I guess.
