"Kaiden what are you doing here?" i asked him confused

"well it's Friday... when we go out. boys night out?" he said

of course. Friday is our night out. but this Friday i'm supposed to go out with the twins and Chloe.

"oh uhh yeah! just need to call my mom really quick" i said running into my bedroom

"damn it Kaiden why'd you pick tonight, why tonight?" i thought

the only thing i could think of was to call Chloe.
i dialed her number in and she picked up after the 2nd ring

"hello?" she asks

"Chlo... we gotta problem." i told her

"what is it?" she asks

"Kaiden's here. it's guys night out. what do i tell him?" i asked her

"oh well you can go out with him and we'll go out next week" she said

"no i wanna go out with the kids!" i told her excitedly

"well... make something up. umm your dads in the hospital there" she said

"ohh... that's good. okay i'll see you in 15!" i yelled

"umm okay?" she said

"love you!" i yelled

"wha-" i hung up before she could answer

i put my phone down and walked into my closet.

thousands of shirts and pants and i don't know what to wear? ughh

i decided on grey adidas casual sweats, and a red nike top with my air forces. i grabbed my phone and jogged down the stairs quick

"yo! Kaiden!" i yelled

"yoo" he yelled from the other room

"uhh listen my dads in the hospital and-" i started saying

"when were you gonna tell me?" he asks

"huh?" i asked completely off

"Jace. you had kids. with my sister" he said

my mouth dropped. "damn it he found out"

"how did you..." i began

"the pictures on your walls. they obviously look like you AND Chloe and they look about almost 6 years old and you and Chloe broke up 5 years ago. when were you gonna tell me?" he asks

i sighed "look. as much as i like you as a friend, i love Chloe more than anything. and the fact. that i had children with her, that makes my life more complete. when i see them it makes me happy and today i was supposed to see them but seeing as to this..." i said

"you know damn right i'm mad at you" he said "but i know how it feels. when i see Jacob he makes my day. but seeing as to you just found out like 2 months ago, i'll let you go. i'm just mad you didn't have the courage to tell me"

"woohh thanks man" i said relieved "so you don't hate Chloe anymore?" i asked

"oh no i still hate Chloe" he said

"damn it" i said

we shook on it and i went to my car and drove to the restaurant. i saw Michael and Ava sitting with Chloe

"i want lamb chomps!" Michael said

"no Michael pick from the kids menu" Chloe said

"I want a gold fish mommy!!" Ava said

"Ava, you can't eat goldfish" i said sliding next into Chloe

"daddy!!" they both said

"that's me" i responded

Michael was dresses in his black under armor sweatpants with a bright green shirt and his adidas shoes. Ava was wearing black leather pants and and a white top with a beige cardigan and her pink ankle boots. Chloe was wearing blue ripped jeans and a white top with a black cardigan and brown sandals and her hair and makeup done nicely. we sat down and ordered our food and ate. these are the moments when you only see me happy

we went to Chloe's car. i put them in and closed there door and went to Chloe

"so Kaiden found out..." I told her

"He did??" she said scared

"it's okay he's cool with it" i said

"ok cool. i gotta go home and put them to bed. bye" she said

"bye" i said

i quickly took her arms and kissed her for 10 seconds... she kissed back thankfully. man i love this girl more than infinity. we slowly pulled away, me smirking and her still in shock

"i love you" i said to her in a child's voice

she smiled and responded with our foreheads now against each other

"i love you to jace" she said smiling, making me smile ever more

i kissed her one more time before i let her go

"damn i'm in love hella big time" i thought
