chloe's point of view
We walked downstairs and sat in the living room
"So where's the rest of the gang?" I asked
"Out at Ella's party still" he responded
"Oh... just out of curiosity... why is our old bedroom closed and covered with cop webs?" I asked curious
He sighed and looked at the TV
"Because I haven't slept in that room since you left" he responded
"Jace!" I yelped
"Hmm?" He asks
"Just because I leave doesn't mean you can't sleep in that room!" I yelled
"But I love you" He said
"Ok Jace... where have you been staying anyways?" I asked
"In the second master bedroom" he responded "Wanna watch "A Quiet Place" He asked grinning
"Jace I don't do horror you know that" I said
"So what I'm here!" He fought back "Peaseee"
".... Fine as long as I get to hold your arm and you get me-" I was about to finish my sentence but he cut me off
"Your buttered popcorn and chocolate milkshake and some skittles yes I know" he said as he got up and went to kitchen
He came back in with my snacks and set them on the table and started the movie. I finished my snacks and put my head on his shoulder. Eventually half way through the movie, my head was snuggled in his chest from putting it in there so many times, looking away from the scary scenes. Eventually I drifted off to sleep

Surprise
"Chloe? Chlo?" I asked shaking her
I looked down at her. She was sleeping. I turned the TV off and picked her up. I put her in my bed and then covered her in the covers and started walking out
"No stay" she said sleepily making me turn around
"You sure?" I asked
"Yeah"
I laid next to her and she turned around and snuggled her head into my bare chest as I wrapped my arms around her
"Jacey I missed you" Chloe said tired
That made me smile
"I missed you to"
I kissed her forehead before turning around and hugging her
