Let's go home

Yugi's POV

We were finally going home, but my first stop was the hospital where I ended up thanks to Kaiba. The portal to our new destination opened on the other side and we all saw a bright light. When this light was gone we were standing in my hospital room and when I turned around I saw Kaiba still laying down next to my bed. I yawned and walked up to a closet and pulled out my old clothing and sat down on the hospital bed. I started to get changed while all the others were still there. I didn't mind at all. When I was changed to my old clothes I started to switch back on all the machines. I also put back in my IV and laid down and closed my eyes "Aibou what are you doing?" Atem asked and I cracked one eye open "I feel kind of weak right now Atem. I've never had taken three people with me through a portal and especially not through time. Those hours I've slept weren't enough I guess. I'm already exhausted, again. So please let me rest for now. After I wake up again we're going to my house. Alright?" I asked and he nodded. I closed my eye again and felt the energy from the locket flow through my body and I heard that time was unfrozen and back to normal. After everything was back to normal I felt the world slipping away and I fell into a deep sleep.

Atem's POV

After we went through the portal to Yugi's timeline we ended up in a hospital room. Why are we here and why is Kaiba laying next to a empty bed? Yugi walked to a closet and got a few clothes out of it and then sat down on the hospital bed. What is he doing? Oh wait. He's going to change himself. I then looked at Marik and Bakura who were standing next to Kaiba making funny faces. When I looked back at Yugi he was already changed into his own clothes and I think I started to drool. Damn he looks so good in those clothes. He was now wearing very tight black leather pants, a tight black sleeveless shirt, his wrists cuffs and choker and the shoes I wore when he and I were still sharing his body and I lived in the Millennium Puzzle. Yugi started to switch all kind of machines on and stuck a needle in his arm, but why? He laid down on the bed and closed his eyes "Aibou what are you doing?" I asked and he re-opened one eye and looked at me "I feel kind of weak right now Atem. I've never had taken three people with me through a portal and especially not through time. Those hours I've slept weren't enough I guess. I'm already exhausted, again. So please let me rest for now. After I wake up again we're going to my house. Alright?" he asked and I nodded my head. After he closed his eye again there were sounds coming from the machines and I heard people walking. Looks like Yugi unfroze time again which Heba had stopped and now he's resting to regain his energy again.

I then heard a groan and looked at Kaiba. Shit he's starting to wake up. What are we going to do. He can't see us "Rise and shine sleepyhead" Marik's voice chimed and I raised an eyebrow "What do you think you're doing?" I asked with my voice low "Waking him up ofcourse" Marik said happily and had a grin on his face. I looked at Kaiba to see him stretch his stiffened muscles and cracked his neck. I winced at the sound of it "Whattuh?" Kaiba whispered when he looked at Yugi and stood up and traced a hand over Yugi's clothes "How did you get back in these clothes?" Kaiba asked himself "He has those clothes on because I helped him" I said even when it wasn't true. Yugi changed himself, but he can't know that, yet. Kaiba turned around to see who said that and when he saw me his mouth was agape "You? I thought you passed on? How are you back?" Kaiba whispered and looked back at Yugi. He also saw the tube was out of his mouth and a few other things changed "It was someone's wish for me to come back" I said and looked at Yugi and walked up to the bed and sat down on the side. I took Yugi's hand in mine and started to caress it carefully not to wake him "It was Yugi right? Who made that wish?" Kaiba asked carefully and I nodded "I thought so. He was talking about you in his sleep" he said and I was shocked to hear that "He really missed you Atem" Kaiba said and turned around to leave the room until he saw Marik and Bakura "What are you two doing here? I said I would call if anything changed and as you can see it didn't. Now get out of the room and let him rest" Kaiba said and pushed Marik and Bakura out of the room. I think he has them mistaken for Malik and Ryou, but I'm not complaining. Now I'm alone with my Aibou.
