The beginning of something new

'I was running like crazy hand in hand with someone in a big city. When I looked back I saw it was Atem, but how? We were running for dear life, because we were chased by a huge black and red dragon with white on it's head and body that tried to kill us. When we turned around a corner we were trapped and when we turned back around we were met with a very angry dragon. The dragon tried to get to me, but Atem pushed me aside and got bitten by the dragon instead. He cried out out of pain and I screamed "Atem NOOOO!!!!!". He was bleeding very badly and I tried to save him, but the dragon bit down again and Atem's body went limp. I started crying when the dragon let go of Atem's body and came for me next. The dragon opened it's big jaws when he came at me and was about to bite me when it all went black.'

I woke up in bed screaming bloody murder and was sweating like I came from under the shower. That was the 10th time now this week and the 29th time this whole month that I woke up having the same nightmare all over again since my 21st birthday. I take a look at my alarm clock and it said 4:30 am. I ended up in the middle of the night and screamed bloody murder out of fear. What is it with this strange dreams? I just don't get it. Is it some kind of a warning? I got out of bed and went downstairs into the kitchen and walked to the cabinet to get a glass and filled it with water and then sat down on a chair at the kitchen table. While sipping my water slowly the house phone went off. Who's crazy enough to call me in the middle of the night? I put the glass down on the table and walked up to the phone and picked it up "Hello this is the Muto residence. This is Yugi speaking" I said and it was Kaiba who called. He has been working on a new project that contains 'time and space'. Calling him a workaholic would not be very wise. It maybe be true, but don't say that right into his face or he'll make sure your future will end up very miserable. "Sorry that I call you in the middle of the night Yugi, but I made a very big discovery and I need you to come to Kaiba Corp immediately. I'll sent one of my limo's to pick you up" Kaiba said and hung up without giving me anything to say. I just sighed and made my way back over to the table to get my glass of water and drank the rest of it and put the now empty glass in the sink. I'll wash that when I get back from KC (Kaiba Corporation) and headed back upstairs to change before the limo gets here. 

I put on my black leather pants, my dark blue leather top, my blue jacket and of course my wrists cuffs, choker and belt that held my deck. After putting on my socks and shoes the doorbell rang. That has to be the limo Kaiba send to pick me up. I got up from the chair I was sitting on and walked to my desk where I put the golden box where the Millennium puzzle came in when Grandpa gave it to me for me to solve it and took my deck out of it. Ever since the day I finished the puzzle I kept the box to put my deck in to it, to keep it safe and unharmed. It also reminds me a lot of Atem. Somehow I can't just forget about him and I'm starting to know why. It all started by having these strange feelings when I thought about him and started blushing. That was before Atem left us all to enter the Afterlife. After he went on, there was a huge hole in my heart. A huge black spot that had to be filled again, but with what? Thanks to that black void in my heart I felt incomplete.

Anyway, after I got my deck and put it in the pocket on my belt and my phone in my pants pocket, I put the duel disk on my left arm and went to check myself in the mirror. It has been 5 years now that I've seen Atem when I was dueling against Diva. 

What happened 5 years in the past

Kaiba had re-excavated the Millennium puzzle in a attempt to duel the Pharaoh again. He wanted me to solve the puzzle again and call for Atem, but I refused. He was finally at peace and Kaiba wanted to disturb him only to duel him. When the duel against Diva was about to end I almost lost consciousness and that's when I fell to the ground and a bright light surrounded me and something felt really familiar. Like it happened before when the Pharaoh and I where dueling together before he left us. It was him and he was here to help me just for one last time. When he beat and destroyed Diva, he and I had a little talk "It's good to see you again 'Aibou'. You've grown a bit I see. I'll be taking the Millennium puzzle and all the other items with me so it can't do any harm to anyone again" Atem said and smiled at me. That was the moment my heart skipped a beat. That smile of his was so beautiful to see. And did he just become more . . . . I don't know . . . . more muscular than he already was? Damn he looks so hot. Wait what??? Did I really just think that about him? Ah well. "It's good to see you too Atem. It has been a while and I'm really glad that I can see you again. Everyone misses you, but I miss you the most" I said while I blushed a little and he looked kind of happy when I said that. We kept looking at each other for a while when he just suddenly winked at me and left in a bright beam of light and left me there flustered. What in the name of Ra just happened?? He winked at me, but why? I then stared up at the sky Atem left into. Up back to the Afterlife he should be at.
