Yugi's POV

When I woke up it was still dark in the bedroom so I knew immediately that it was still early in the morning and Ra was still asleep as well, when I heard some whimpering coming from next to me. I first looked to my right to see if it was Atem having a nightmare, but he was peacefully sleeping next to me so it had to be Heba. When I turned to my left he indeed was whimpering while he was laying on his stomach, but what shocked me the most was that he had his little blanket over his head, so he couldn't quite breathe. I quickly threw the blanket off of me and got Heba out of his crib and he started to softly cry. When Heba started to cry louder I started to rock him and I looked at the clock on my bedside table and saw it was 3:43 am and I sighed heavily. So I laid Heba down real quick on my side of the bed and pulled on my slippers and bathrobe and picked Heba back up and walked to the door of the bedroom "Yugi? Where are you going?" Atem asked still very tired "I'm going to the nursery to see what Heba needs, because he was whimpering. After that I'm going to feed him and go back to bed. So I'll try to make it quick, okay?" I said and he nodded and went back to sleep. I then went out of our bedroom and walked to the nursery, Heba started to cry louder and louder slowly, so I had to hurry before he would wake everyone that slept in the mansion.

When I got to the nursery I quickly laid Heba down on a highboy and got a clean diaper, baby wipes, baby powder and some baby ointment with a little bit of perfume in it with the scent of lavender and started to clean Heba's diaper. When I opened the diaper though there was a smell coming off of it, my Ra. The scent was so bad, that I had to hold my breath so I wouldn't have to gag. I quickly took the dirty diaper and threw it away and started cleaning Heba's little baby butt and while I was busy with that Heba started giggling, making me smile. While I was wiping Heba's butt clean he got a hold of Atem's cartouche that I was wearing around my neck and started playing with it. I got Atem's cartouche and kept it ever since, letting me think about him constantly "Do you like the cartouche Heba? It's Atem's" I said and Heba babbled his respond "Ata . . . ata . . . " Heba said and pulled at the cartouche playfully, pulling my head down as well. Dang he's getting stronger by the day "Alright Heba. That's enough playing now" I said and got the cartouche away from him before he strangles me with it. When I got the cartouche away from him though, Heba started whimpering while reaching out for the cartouche, so I sighed and gave it back to him and he took it and put it in his mouth and started to suck on it. When I was done cleaning Heba's diaper I took him in my arms and carried him downstairs towards the kitchen to prepare a bottle for him, Atem's cartouche still in Heba's mouth. So I walked up to the playpen in the living room and placed Heba in it, together with a Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl plushy and walked into the kitchen and started to prepare the bottle.

When I was done with making the bottle I could hear Heba started whimpering again and made my way to the playpen in the living room "What's wrong little one? Are you hungry?" I cooed and Heba looked up at me, his eyes containing small tears. I placed the bottle I was holding on the coffee table and picked Heba out of the playpen and held him with one arm while I picked up the bottle and made my way back upstairs to Atem and my bedroom. On the way there I noticed Heba was staring at the bottle, so I stopped halfway on the stairs and gave him the bottle, which he took gladly and started drinking immediately. When I got to the bedroom and opened the door I could hear Atem was snoring slightly while laying on his stomach with his right arm outstretched to my side and I smiled. He was missing me in bed and so laid far to my bedside. I then sat down on my side of the bed and held Heba while he was drinking his bottle and started stroking Atem's hand in the meantime. There was a groan a few seconds later and some mumbling and Atem's hand took a hold of mine slowly, intertwining our fingers together "Hey love. I see you're back. Where's Heba?" Atem asked and I slowly and carefully turned around so he could see Heba was drinking his bottle, which was almost empty by now "Looks like someone was hungry" Atem said and smiled "He indeed was, but also had a very big surprise for me when I was about to change him. The smell that came off of it was really disgusting. I nearly had to vomit of the smell" I said and Atem chuckled softly "That is what babies do best. Eat, sleep, cry and poop" Atem said while grinning and I laughed a little "Yeah you're right about that" I said and looked back at Heba, noticing that he had finally finished his bottle and burped him after I placed the bottle on the nightstand next to my alarm clock which indicated it was now 4:27 am and I was still very tired "I can't wait for Heba to be his grown up self again. So I don't need to change his diapers anymore 'cause they stink very badly" I said while rocking Heba to sleep.
