Yugi's POV

It was the next day after Atem helped me to get better again. To tell you the truth, I really felt like shit and had no idea what to do, until Atem helped me. I slowly started to wake up and noticed I was all curled up against Atem, who in turn had his arms around me protectively. So I pulled the pillow from behind my head and pushed it carefully between Atem and myself and as a result, Atem's arms let go of me and took a firm hold of the pillow while I sneaked out of bed. When I placed my feet on the ground though I shivered and let out a small shriek from the cold and accidentally woke up the small baby Gods that were sleeping above us.  When I looked outside I could see the sun slowly coming up and when I looked at the clock on my bedside table I saw it was already 8.23 am. That's right, I almost forgot. It was slowly getting winter and that must be it that made the floor so cold. I looked down at the ground and saw my slippers and slipped them on before putting on my robe and closed the curtains before Atem woke up from the sun in his face. I then sneaked out of the bedroom together with the little Gods and went down the stairs and into the living room, turning on the tv and walked through to the kitchen while the tv was heard on the background.

When the news came on though I was shocked to hear that there were many monsters spotted all over the world and I looked at the baby Gods "What do y'know? There are slowly coming more monsters into our world every single day. I've got a hunch that their world and our world are coming together" I said and the young Gods tilted their heads cutely. I then went into the fridge and pulled out some meat and put it down on the kitchen counter and took three small bowls out of the cabinet together with a bigger bowl and closed the cabinet again, only to open another cabinet and took out a box of cereals. I put the box down next to the bigger bowl and started to split the meat into the three tiny bowls and placed them on the kitchen table and the three baby Gods went to start eating. I smiled at them while I poured some cereals in the big bowl and put the box back in the cabinet. I then opened the fridge again to get some milk and poured some over the cereals and put the milk eventually back into the fridge. After that I took a spoon from the kitchen drawer and went to the living room, sitting down on the couch while eating my cereals, watching the news show some images of small and bigger monsters that had appeared all around the world.

When the baby Gods were done eating they floated up to me and settled themselves on both my sides. Slifer curled itself around me and let it's head rest on my shoulder, while Ra curled up into a tight golden ball on my left side and Obelisk just hang against my right side and all three of them fell back asleep. I smiled at them and kept eating my simple breakfast while watching the news. When I was done I tried to put the bowl on the coffee table, but Slifer made it almost impossible for me to even move, so I decided to hold onto the bowl until I had a chance to put it down safely. It wasn't long after that, that I heard footsteps and I slowly turned my head to see Malik and Marik walking in whispering to each other "Good morning you two" I whispered and they both froze. I think they didn't expect me to be up so early and down here, after what happened to me yesterday. Malik was the first one to get himself together again and walked up to me, but then stopped and aw'ed "Good morning Yugi. I didn't thought you would be up so early after what happened yesterday" Malik whispered and sat down next to me very carefully before he would wake up baby Obelisk. The little God to our surprise did woke up and crawled onto Malik and curled up into his arms and fell back asleep. Marik then also came and sat down next to Malik carefully and smiled at what he saw before him.
